1. First, extra tips for the best image quality:

A. Cinematic DX9 MOD 2:

Ls39xhc.jpg

With this new MOD, the game looks very similar to Next-Gen games. Really great.   B)
> Download: http://1drv.ms/Yx9Ywu  My personal config (with instructions to edit).

Note: If for some problem the image is extremely dark, to fix go to Nvidia control panel and set Antialiasing "Application-controlled".

Note 2:To fix Nvidia Direct3DCreate9Ex error, uninstall Geforce Experience.

B. Next-Gen Cinematic Filter (old version, Flat Chromatic filter and no Lens Flares):
This MOD applies a chromatic filter, very similar to that in the new Unreal Engine 4 and in other Next-Gen games.
> Download here: http://1drv.ms/1f1RkEf  My personal config (with instructions to edit).

Note: If for some problem the image is extremely dark, to fix go to Nvidia control panel and set Antialiasing "Application-controlled".

Note 2:To fix Nvidia Direct3DCreate9Ex error, uninstall Geforce Experience.

C. SweetFX MOD (only if you do not like the Cinematic MODs):

Screenshots inside the download file.
> Download: http://www.mediafire...MOD v1.0(2).rar
Note:To fix Nvidia Direct3DCreate9Ex error, uninstall Geforce Experience.

D. Enable Ambient Occlusion (Nvidia):

E. Downsampling (now Nvidia call it DSR - Dynamic Super Resolution):

And if you have a very good PC, you can use Downsampling for the best image quality.

2. Now the textures in High resolution:

To use these textures, you need the software TexmodDownload
/// Users of Windows 8.1 set Texmod in windows XP compatibility mode. ///

Instructions for dealing with Origin:

- Put the file Texmod.exe in your game folder Win32 (alongside the game's executable.).

- Edit this file with Notepad: https://www.mediafir...658s2bboj58c0hu

- Change the 5 times the path where you have installed your game, for example on my PC is:

  D:\Origin\games\Mass Effect 3\Binaries\Win32\MassEffect3.exe.

  Put your right installation path.

- Save the changes to the bat file (like .bat not .txt)

- Open Origin.

- Now run the file MassEffect3.bat.

- Press Y and then Enter key.

- Start the game FROM ORIGIN WINDOW, it will open Texmod (not use the shortcut of the game).

- Press a Space bar 2 times on the window of MassEffect3.bat (the window will close)

- Now you can use texmod, first select the game .exe file (MassEffect3.exe) pressing the big folder icon, then the mods you want to use (.tpf files) in the middle small folder icon and press Run.

Tip: you can select several tpf files dragging the mouse over them, I think the limit is 40. I add 63 MODs in two loads.

After press RUN the game will take a few minutes to start (loading black screen), depending on how many simultaneous MODs you have loaded and the speed of your PC (my time is 9 minutes with all the Mods).

> The user saltisgood has created the following very good video with some comparisons and instructions on how to use the MODs of this post. Take a look:
fsiVWYg.jpg

__________________________________________________________________________

____________________________________________________________________
IMPORTANT:

 - The number of files you can load at one time, depends on the amount of RAM in your PC and the amount of memory in your Video Card.

>>>
Recommended hardware to use like 63 Mods (using Master file C for enviroments) at the same time:

O.S: Windows x64.
Ram: 6+ GB.
Video Card Memory: 1+ GB.

NOTE: Apparently Texmod has a load limit of 3.5 GBs in textures. So be sure to have like 4GB of free RAM on your system.
>>>

> PROBLEMS?

> Texmod D'oh error?... your antivirus is blocking the operation of the application. Set Texmod.exe as trusted or disable antivirus for a moment.

> Texmod is not working? , maybe you are launching the game from the shortcut and not from ORIGIN WINDOW.

> If any character is completely black, increase its priority in the list of Texmod.

> If the game crash at start, remember to disable Origin in the game function (overlay) and not load too many files at the same time.

> If some texture getting stuck in full screen, press Alt + Tab to minimize the game and then returns to the game to remove it (sometimes it is necessary to repeat the process a couple of times).

> Only one MOD is visible in-game? This Texmod method may not be compatible with other ways to introduce new textures in to the game (other texture MOD software). If you will to use ME3 Explorer tool be careful, some things could go wrong. The first thing will  be make a full back up of your game folder.

> If the game crash during gameplay, maybe you are using some NOT OPTIMIZED MOD. Try only with that marked as OPTIMIZED 2. Or maybe your Coalesced.bin file is damage.. in that case restore that file.

> DLCs Authorization problems? Try this Launcher: http://www.mediafire... LauncherWV.rar
If the Launcher does not works try with this dll files patch: http://me3explorer.f...6503.html#p6503

* For other problem ask for help in the comments of this post or send me a private message.

Enjoy the new Textures.  ;)

To prevent crashes, prefers to use the files marked as "OPTIMIZED 2": With the same quality in high resolution, but in a new format with less memory consumption and more friendly game engine.

Did you seriously have to bump every single texture thread and then go and make one yourself?

yes, works perfect and looks great. more realistic

tested and modified by me in single player (demo and final version).

** Remember that the quality of the image depends on the confiruration your TV /Monitor (contrast, saturation, etc..) You can create your own MOD patiently downloading the application FXAA Tool at:

btw I recognize these files... There's post-process mods for Skyrim that appear to have been made using this same tool. :)

Anyway, I tried your mod and it looks pretty good. I think I will continue using it. It does add a little bit of jagginess to text and interface (this mod does the same thing to Skyrim however), but it makes everything else look cleaner, sharper, and more colorful (but not too much). :)

Remember that you can edit the "colorful" with the file FXAA_TOOL.exe. Then in the section "ToneMap" move the bar "Saturation", then "Save and open the game to see results.

The mod looks oversharpened and desatured. While I think a lot of improvements could be made to the way the game currently looks, this makes it look worse (in my opinion).

That depends on your graphics settings (contrast, saturation, brightness, etc). WithFXAA_TOOL.exe file, edit the parameters that best fit your current monitor. This is very important to achieve the best image quality for each person.

Do this:

In section "Sharpen" reduces "Post Sharpen Power" and in the section "ToneMap" increases "Saturation". Then "Save" and open the game for see the results.

Good Luck.

(i'm latin and ur screenshoots are in spain so thats why i call you amigo), i dont think this mod make any difference other than brightness, the texture are the same, the face texture are great on me3, so this is pointless, and you can do it on the graphic menu

those comparison screenshots, i thought default was better - i use fxaa tool for skyrim and only use 1 tint setting as the rest make the game unrealistic on my calibrated system, i cant understand the hype of these tools.
but its nice for people to fiddle with things :)

now, i want to now how they generated there normal maps... grrr :(
i'd rather improve the textures from the base.

I think the results of the application FXAA_TOOL depends largely on the type of monitor being used. I have tested the application on 2 different computers, with LED display monitor and LED TV and the result is spectacular. A big difference.
From what I read in another post, perhaps we will soon have HD textures (for MOD). :o
