Operation MASTIFF (June 8th-10th)
We are dropping the new reinforcements onto occupied worlds to supplement resistance movements. Retrieving data of how the Reapers conquered those worlds is of paramount importance.

Allied Goal: Complete 100K  retrieval missions.
Personal Goal: Extraction on Silver difficulty with one squad member of the Rebellion Pack classes: Vorcha, Phoenix Project Defectors, or Quarian Male.
Special Circumstance: None.

Completion of the personal goal awards that player a Commendation Pack.
Completion of the allied goal awards all players a Victory Pack that has a guaranteed N7 weapon.

Operation Mastiff begins at 6pm PST Friday June 8 and ends at 4am PST Monday June 11
Packs will be distributed Tuesday Evening if the mission is successful.

To be clear: The Rebellion Pack squad member does NOT have to be the one who extracts. They just have to participate in the mission and at least one squad member has to extract.

Retrieval is the new mission objective that got added in Rebellion. So your squad must play a retrieval mission and at least one person from teh squad must be extracted at the end.

The Commendation and Victory Packs will be giving a guaranteed N7 weapon. The N7 weapons that have the N7 in the name- N7 Valiant, N7 Crusader, N7 Eagle, or N7 Hurricane.

Operation Mastiff must be completed on Silver OR BETTER. So Gold completions do count.

So wait, now we get an N7 weapon in both the Victory AND Commendation packs, or have the Comm packs been changed?

If it's in both, I dunno about that...

Does it need to be on Silver difficulty, or is Gold acceptable as well?

Guaranteed N7 black weapon in victory pack apart from the N7 in commendation pack? For the first time, Bioware has given a worthwhile incentive to complete community goal.

Now THAT'S the way, BioWare! Will definitely try for the Victory Pack now that it's worth it!

So that means you just have to play a silver match to extraction, with one squad member as a Rebellion character, or does each player have to be playing as one?

Edit: Also guaranteed N7 weapon? Kudos guys!

Ok, I'm glad to hear that the feedback about the Victory packs has been carefully regarded.

A guaranteed N7 weapon from a Victory pack? Excellent idea! I'll definitely be participating in this weekend.

So aside from the personal goal, requiring the retrieval be performed on silver, all bronze retrievals will count toward the allied goal?

Lol.

When I saw the post title, I was thinking "Wait a minute, DA has the Mabari, not ME..."

The operation graphic should show the CE fenris mech...

I'm calling it:
In 5 minutes from now this board thinks Victory packs are going to be OP and need to be nerfed.

Considering the retrieval part of this Operation I'm guessing that all of that participate are the dogs. :wizard:

So do victory packs give an 'N7' ultra rare black card, or one of the N7 weapons like the Valiant?

Either way, awesome, but it'd still be nice to know what to expect.

The possibility of 2 Valiant upgrades in the same day looks very appealing.

Nice on the new Victory Packs. I wonder if there will be an increased rate of retrieval missions over the weekend, other wise given the normal 1/4 chance of getting one, there would have to be something like 400,000 games played over the weekend. Also, they can keep putting it off, but they'll have to give us a Geth kill goal eventually.
