I would love to own a model of the Normandy, about 2 - 2 1/2 ft long.  I don't suppose there is any hope of BioWare/EA producting one is there?  I'm sure i can't be the only one that would like one.

I'd love that too. Revell seems to be making some good licensed Star Wars stuff over the past few years (I have a prequel Star Destroyer model and it's great).

Wouldn't have thought they would make one that long or it would cost a fortune, but I'd love real life kits of everything that you can get for the captains ship desplay in ME2.

i wouldn't think 2ft would be that long (just about the length of a full size keyboard.) it shouldn't be that much either since i was talking a put it together yourself kit which tends to be not as expensive as a premade. i wouldn't care much for a premade as i enjoy painting and assembling myself.

I am TOTALLY getting started on this as a hobby project.

I expect that it'll not take long for people to extract the textures and wireframes from the PC version to use for papercraft models (Check the Homeworld paper starships site for some AWESOME ones) - once those are out there, I expect some plasticard and modelling putty could be used for a good model.

I'd definately buy any Mass effect model ship, but while we're waiting, here's one of my own...

Thank you kindly good sirs. I'm still in shock over the fact that I only started work last thursday - what with work, college and the girlfriend all competing for time.

There's a Kodiak shuttle and a few Geth troopers on my page too.

Ben, you should start a Lego Group, and use that as the banner.

I would die for the instructions for it too! Unfortunately he did them only for the Kodiak :(

I am eager to get along all my old Legos from the time I was a kid to build that baby!

Some guy is making a model. Here's what he has already made
http://radikal.ru/F/...833fe3.jpg.html
He hasn't finished it yet, but I guess he will post the drafts and stuff to make your own.

Here's a link to his thread if anyone here can read russian.
