I wouldn't mind this.  In ME3 deluxe we received a robot dog.  Unfortunately all it did was wander around, and had no actual usefulness.  BW, if you're going to include things like this, please make them useful to the team, kinda like (my pal!) Mabari in DA:O.

I'm on board.  I present something new for BW.  We demand bacon armours for our male and female characters.  I have some templates for you to work with BW.

Male Armor - with some slight modifications of course

Female Armour - good to go, no mods required.

I've been using damage reduction on CQC, and damage for ranged (myself included).  I can see though movement speed would be a big bonus for daggers.

I actually fired up DAIMP this weekend. I hadn't tried out either the Silent Sister or the Sa'erbaas (sp?) - it'd been a while. Got the hang of the two kits with some level 1 fumbling in a private solo match and wanted to try them out in a team. Figured I'd work toward that weekend challenge, myself. Especially after Billy and Luke teased the rewards amazingness on Dragons n' Donuts on Friday.

Off-topic:  I'm torn on that other game mentioned above. I want to see all the new hotness in it, but am opposed to the idea of giving them another $60 for what the game should've been when I gave them $60 last year. I actually fired up DAIMP to keep me from hitting that purchase button on Legendary Edition.

Welcome back.  Yeah, that really sucks (DAIMP disco - in this case rather than Disco Duck, it's disco'd!! ****!!).

I am also waffling about getting The Taken King, but I just might, still considering.  I also (like many no doubt) feel the initial purchase was not worth it (so much hype, day 1 purchase...), however a lot of changes and content since then make it seem more of a reasonable purchase now.  If any here want to team up on XB1 please add me to your friends list and let's kick some butt (XB1 GT: LtRobbiesan).

I enjoy both, but if I had to choose, it would be SP.  SP is what brought me to ME to start with.  That said I am looking forward to what BW has planned for MEAMP.

In short, no. 

However, what I wouldn't mind seeing is BW engaging the community asking for responses on some of their ideas, and perhaps taking some great ideas from the community and implementing those which make the game greater (ultimately BW has to decided which).  Should BW use a BSNr's ideas, would like to see them added to the rolling credits (and optionally, perhaps some gratitude in form of a free DLC or something).

I think between the lot of us we have some great ideas to share to make a greater gaming experience, and hopefully BW can see the wisdom in drawing from this pool of creativity.  Anyhow, I say this because I see the overall value in community + developer team working together.

fired up the demo on Destiny yesterday -- is it worth getting into/exploring?

I had fun with it for a while, but burned myself out on it.  It is an MMO so there is much grind involved, but we're used to that with many MP games anyway.  I am hesitant to advise you one way or the other, but yes, fun can be had with this game.  You can play three classes: Warlock, Hunter, Titan, which is nice variation of gameplay/abilities.

Single Player story

SP co-op missions with friends

MP co-op - Strikes (similar to DAIMP missions)

MP PvP - Control points, team DM, FFA

Raids - (I haven't actually done evenone of them yet)

Since I last played they have brought out new MP maps, a number of which I had not seen until yesterday.  I had fun with MP yesterday, and might get back to finishing off the SP missions eventually.  If you do decide to get this, perhaps we can team up on SP and MP.
