Tried to see if I could get Adela's files to work for a new game - once I moved cas_01.cas into patch2 > Data, instead of patch2 > Data > patch2 > Data, the game at least opened. After I selected my race and class and default world state though, I got a regular loading screen then... it just sat on a black loading screen forever. I will figure this out damn it...

Mouse doesnt seem to work in war council for me. I have to do everything as soon as i enter the room with keyboard. Save for selecting missions. Once i have the mission selected and i want to travel, or choose who to send ot anything like that, i have to use keyboard.

 

Another thing, better descritptions for items would be nice. You have that luxury or whatever item tab, but from what i hear some of those items are used for different things. But youd never know that by playing the game. If i hadnt looked it up and found out i would have been selling them all along only to find out i needed them later.

 

As the game goes on I have the 'mouse clicking goes bye bye' issue more and more, particularly in the war room. If I click LMB+RMB (simultaneously) it seems to fix the issue. You may have tried that already - I feel like we're all trying a lot of voodoo to get stuff to work - but I figured I'd throw it out there, because it's not at all intuitive (at least to me).

Everyone's covered everything I've thought of so far, so I just want to sum up my agreement as... it's pretty, yes, a pretty chore. Combat, quests, gathering, even just moving my character around. It's the equivalent of me putting on makeup and a fancy dress, and vacuuming someone's mansion. Lovely to look at, not very fun to do.

I tried searching for similar posts, but I couldn't find any based on several keyword searches, soo here goes...

 

What crappy "aesthetic" led them to use all caps for everything? It's such a huge 'do not' for accessibility, I just don't get it. I love reading all the notes and codex entries, or, I used to anyway... They clearly spent years writing all the stuff, I'd love to read it without my brain or eyes hurting. It's probably not something fixable like WoW, where you can drop in alternate fonts, either. 

I only had that happen once, but yes, 100% agree. Extremely frustrating. I assumed it did that, sort of like y'know, Skyrim...

Yep, had like 5 in my spam folder this morning, and 1 more just now (11 am-ish here). ugh.

Yep, I've been getting these since Monday, in spades. I thought, "What the hell did I do? o_O" but it comforts me a bit that at least it's not just me... I almost never have spam in my Gmail spam folder either, if I do it's usually a random email from school or a retail site marked as spam. Sigh.

I was having the same issue, and went through all of the "fixes" for it. I was having very slow download speeds, so I checked my bf's computer to see if it had the same problem. He just bought BF3 and there was an Origin error message about the aforementioned authorization problems. I downloaded the Origin client since this is a fairly new system still, and the main screen that opens for Origin (has the covers for all games you own and a play button when you hover over it) allowed me to open to play DA2, no logging in or authorization BS required. If you really want to play, maybe try that and see if it works for you too. Don't want my hours of headdesking to go to waste
