Is it true DAI is getting a modding tool similar to Skyrims this year??  Please let this be so.  I played the heck outta various skyrim mods.

I followed your instructions Ehamloptrian, thanks for that.   Is there a way to get the actual audio files too.  I'd like to make a soundboard like I did with Mass Effect 3.  

Has anyone figured out how to export all the dialogue from the game?  I remember something earlier in the thread about another group of people doing this, but I didn't know if this was a serious thing, or just a throw away comment.

If you'd still like it, I have finally completed my soundboards and I threw Talis song on there for good measure.

Have fun going through all 7978 sound files.  It's taken me 3 days to go through and listen to them all, and thats only because I'm being bugged about doing a soundboard for deviant art.  However, if it hadn't of been for that I would never have heard certain things.  I can't believe I missed out on jokers bar story, or thanes memorial.  I missed so much.  Cue playthrough number 2 >< lmao

Before the Citadel dlc came out I felt inclined to replay this fantastic series starting from the beginning. Going back to ME1 was a big shock (gameplay wise after playing ME3 so much) but I'd forgotten how awesome the original was.

Oddly enough it took me 3 days to do a complete playthrough of Me1 but only a day and a half to do Me2 including all dlcs. I finally got up to the cerberus base in ME3 (after having done the previous dlcs) just before this dlc came out, so that was pretty awesome timing.

I haven't finished ME3 yet,.. kinda stringing that out a bit before trying that MEHEM.

Anyway, this series is one I'll be playing a lot over the years I think.

It always make me laugh when I read posts on here from people moaning and groaning about their bad pug experiences, how bad pugs are or how noob-y they are. I wonder if these people realize that in pug games, you are a pug too (to the others) and I can bet you a million dollars your teammates think the exact same thing as you - about you.

Just play the game. If you have a bad game, shrug it off and play another one. If you still can't gel well with a team, then make friends. Problem solved for everyone.

Good sir, from what you are describing, I am going to assume you play on a PC. If this is the case, you should know by now that PC shockwave's radius evolution has been bugged from day 1 and will only work for the first 5-15 uses and then completely stop working altogether. It is nothing new, and because of it makes several classes completely lackluster if not outright unplayable on the PC. I would not count on bioware fixing it anytime soon since they have yet to address the issue since the game's launch or any of the updates that have been released.

Oh gawd.. seriously!  I knew it was bugged, but I didn't know it was a PC exclusive thing.  Thanks for explaining

Congrats! With your first solo under your belt, the only way is up! Keep practicing, then onward to silver solo!!

 I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or what, but I'm having some problems with the shamans shockwave.  I've specced his warp and shockwave for radius and such, and come the first wave I manage to get off a few detonations no problem.  Then from wave 2 until about wave 6 or so, my shockwave doesn't set them off. 

I thought it might have something to do with me not hosting, so I hosted and the same thing happened.  My shockwaves would go straight past the enemy and do absolutely no damage to it, even when it was warped.  And when I mean straight past, I mean... almost touching them.  Or on occasion, it would go straight through them and still nothing.  I thought it might be the old 'warp - [someone elses tech ability] - shockwave = nothing', but I even experimented on a lone enemy that no one else was targeting, and the same thing happened.

Then come the later waves, my detonations work again.

I've never used shockwave on any character before until now, because I always heard it was bugged.  Then I heard it was fixed.  Then bugged.  I don't no.

Has anyone else had this, or am I doing something spectacularly wrong?

It was mentioned by bioware's Jos Hendriks that flashlights are prohibitively resource intensive to use.

And honestly the map is dark enough already, especially when your character is wounded. I actually had to adjust my brightness setting to get around this weird bug my tv has with pick black objects. I do wish I had a flashlight anyway.

However, it would have been pretty nice if the map had dark spots and only a few lamps were scattered around to give some ambient light.  And once in a while maybe the moon came out from behind cloud cover to give extra light?  I dunno.  The map is good, but not what I was expecting.

He can take an insane amount of damage which makes him very forgiving for mistakes, plus you have charge to restore your shields or get away from messy situations.
Ideally run in circles so everything follows you in circles. That way you don´t have enemies all around the map and you have always "safe" places to retreat. Don´t stay too long in one place because then enemies will overrun you. Leave bosses as last to kill. Run(retreat) whenever it gets heated.

I gave my kroguard Cyclonic Module III / Disruptor Rounds III / Strength Enhancer III / and the Armored Compartments III gear which granted me 2 extra missiles.  Played the geth on Ghost map too with the piranha.  I was lucky in my objectives that I got hack/escort/hack... the best 3 I found for this particular solo.  

Basically my rotation consisted of charge / melee x3 / charge without pause.   Wave 9 I found definitely the hardest and used 2 or 3 rockets when I got swamped my primes/pyros and bombers as well as a couple of gels ><.  OH THOSE BOMBERS!!

Stayed down the back during extraction and kited them until the last few seconds and made a run for the LZ.  

Seriously... I dread wave 9 like a mofo!  Hope you give it a go.  Good luck.

Night storm? That does sound intriguing. I'm guessing we won't get flashlights, so will the map have lamps scattered around in certain places?? Will some parts be darker then others? Ohhh the possibilities!

How do you not have the skill to play gold normally but can solo it?

I'm sure it's been posted already, but kroguard v Geth is easymode gold solo.  I've been thinking of stepping up to gold as silver is pretty easy for me now, but just the thought of doing it outside of the kroguard actually scares me.  I can't help but think I'd be more of a hinderance to my team as I'd be too new at it.  Of course, reading all of the hate threads against players taking the step up to gold 'when they're not ready' is also something that plays on my mind.

OT: I confess.....  In the first few waves (maybe upto 5 or 6) I play my volus engie offensively.  I rarely use my SB unless MY sheilds are down.  But in my defense, the others run off and do their own thing.  But come wave 6 onwards I am pure medic.  Silver only of course 

Yeah, I've been scrolling through Jos' Q&A thread, and although he says he's not 100% sure, he guesses Tuesday for the new map hazards. Well.... it's Tuesday.............. here in Australia so I guess I'll have to wait 12 hours more.

I'm just interested in what people are hoping the next 2 hazards will be. I read that they chose not to allow daggers hazard to strip shields/health etc on us, so maybe they went that route with the acid rain too. Which would kind of suck actually. Just think of Haestrom in ME2, Something like that effect would be fun for the rain. Maybe not as strong, actually.. definitely not as strong, but allowing it to slowly eat away at your shields would make for very fun albeit frustrating gameplay.

 Or which ones do you want next?

Personally, I want to see what this whiteout and acid rain is all about, and how it affects us as players.  Do these changes come tomorrow?
