Anyone else having trouble with Solas's personal quests? Namely 1 isn't triggering at all, and another is not showing up as completed when it should be.

Also reporting the missing entry for All New, Faded for Her in completed quests. Not gotten 'What lies dormant' at all either, and I'm just before 'What pride has wrought'.

Has anyone taken this up with the devs, aside from Patrick Weekes?

Naminae Lavellan, Mage, Sumalee's Voice. Drew her a while back so had a firm idea of how I wanted her to look. The character creator didn't disappoint!

God when someone mentioned the line "Dread Wolf take you!" I'd visions of Lavellans' everywhere shouting that mid battle, and Solas smirking quietly to himself

<-- my expression reading this thread today. You guys have made the idea of Solas as Fen'Harel easier to handle. So glad I spoilt myself, don't know how folks on the main forum are going to cope

...well, that was a LOT of info to digest over breakfast I didn't watch the video, but I've been wanting to know who Solas is before heading into the game. And for them to actually go with Fen'Harel. Well, this romance ain't gonna end well...or really go anywhere. How can we trust his word? Why would he bother? Hmm, this brings up all those disheartening questions again

Damn it! Gonna do it anyway  I'm a sucker for angsty stuff. There is so much we still don't know, but at least I've an inkling of what's to come.

Been trying to find Dorian's recruitment with Solas/Blackwall on twitch, but no luck. You said it was removed, yeah? Damn

Right?! I'm so glad he got his own model. It's really well-done.

I agree with Scintilla in that I don't think Solas is ignorant to your flirtations, its more "Why?". I like it, the player taking the initiative. Though I'm struggling to see how the romance is going to play out, but I'm hopeful  A scene of them discussing the fade or politics or anything like that would make me a happy person!

My Lavellan is a curious lady, always wandering off and putting her nose where it doesn't belong. Being Dalish isn't all that important to her, she's a mage first, everything else comes after that. She was never that close with her clan, except the Keeper. There is no resentment there, its just that she gets itchy feet. Hence her excitement to leave for the Conclave.

She likes to take her time, which I can imagine will wind Cassandra up something dreadful! As for Solas, like everyone here, she's fascinated by his ideas. That's what sparks their interaction, and with my Inquisitor's quirky temperament, it should be an interesting show  

Going to run her as a buffing mage, though am really interested in Knight Enchanter. We'll see

Perhaps he was coerced/enticed, even with all his experience, Cory bending the Fade like in the quote: into Solas's ideal world. A promise of his dreams.

I was thinking, if Solas was after the anchor, then perhaps that explains those dark looks. Perhaps quiet jealousy?

Mind you I'm not sure he's the jealous type.

Same conversation but the player makes different decisions and I think takes more investigate options.

God, I'd been refraining from watching too much of his dialog, but wow! Gareth's voice acting is incredible, and Solas's views...'scuse me as my brain breaks.

Also loving Jon Curry's voice acting! On M!Qunari its amazing =D

Glad to see the thread has picked up again, last nights Fen'Harel saga was tugging at me heartstrings

Hmm his conversation video is interesting to him pride and desire demons were instead spirits of purpose and wisdom, because people believe and expect them to be pride and desire so that's what they are. While since he had an open mind without any dogma in the way they appeared as spirits of purpose and wisdom. 

See this is what makes me so interested in his character. His views on the fade are so different from other mages we and certainly any our Lavellans' will have met. It's gonna be an eye opener, no more Chantry-fide 'everything is demons!'.

I'm working on my Dalish!Quizzy, hoping to role her as an open minded, somewhat distant from her clan Dalish. I played a very headstrong and proud Mahariel as my Warden, so it'll make a nice change. Hopefully, Mr Chuckles and her will get along

So much epic speculation. At least we've covered all the bases, from minor betrayal to godly trickster. Can't say we're not prepared

I'm hoping that he does end up falling in love with the Inquisitor even if he's actually Fen'Harel. Maybe it's a source of great turmoil for him? Not that his plotline is going to need anymore drama or anything, but 

It could happen, I really hope it does. The potential of this, or the redemption plot, are fantastic. The irony, as someone already said, of the Dread Wolf falling for a Dalish! Fab
