A conjuration class would be a pretty cool addition, someone who conjures demons and spirits to do their bidding (I think this would have great RP potential too, especially when encountering Solus). Outside of combat, this class could also use spirits and demons, such as using a desire demon to manipulate someone. I had hoped that this would have been the necromancer in DAI, although good, it wasn't what I was expecting

General Discussion (Spoilers)
I think the problem largely stems from Bioware's predictable narrative. Honestly, Bioware does not actually make amazing original storylines, however, they do make really amazing and engaging characters and lore. Bioware stories always features the return of an ancient evil that threatens the world in some capacity, and a chosen hero who must rise up to stop them, or to unite the kingdoms/races as a means to stop the threat. Frankly, Bioware tell's the same story as every other RPG developer, except, Bioware know that it is their characters that matter the most to their fans anyway. This is certainly a good thing, although, I would love to see that attention to detail and originality in their characters and lore to also be extended to the main narrative.

General Discussion (Spoilers)
I believe Inquisition was a good ending for the hero. The loss of a hand is nothing compared to the loss of their life. They have done what they intended to do and are in a position where they no longer need to be out in the field fighting, they can lead and live happily knowing that the mark is no longer a threat to their life (honestly, when I started Inquisition, I thought that the mark would have somehow caused the Inquisitor to die at the end).

Life is Strange
For some reason I'm pretty chill about episode 5. To me it's just like "it will come out when it comes out". I was a lot more anxious about episode 4, but mostly because I couldn't wait to see what that alternate reality was like, and if Max would stay there or not. The only thing that has me on edge right now is Civil war and that movie will only come out in freaking nine months. You folk still have it easy.
But the ending of episode 4? That has made me experience quite the sad face until the next episode. It feel's like Max will be in the dark room for a full month..Thankfully it's only a day in game ![]()

I think this deserves a signal boost.
Vroomvroom's forum is pretty active and seems to have a large amount of the OT's regular posters present within its threads. So I advise anyone who was a regular in any of the OT topics to join this forum (or even if you just want to talk OT with like-minded individuals). ![]()

Well, I've been part of a group that... well, sort of has BioWare-related threads in it, but mostly revolves around casual chat and talk. Hasn't been closed yet.. I should probably create a BioWare-centric thread just in case.
If it has a Bioware related name, that might help it, a good disguise I guess. :')
I believe that I am a member of the group that you speak of.

Maybe an off-topic group would suffice, with all of the respecting off-topic threads available there? Although I wonder if Bioware would close such groups as this eventually (I was once part of a group which acted as a chatroom which was subsequently closed by the mods as it wasn't Bioware related. :/

BioWare Forum/BSN Help
Well, this was a tad... reckless. The off-topic (lounge) served as an adequate substitute for gamers to discuss a variety of topics while keeping the main boards free of such off-topic discussion. This move will surely cause the main topics to become riddled in spam, as well as causing the forums to appear rather strict and desolate for all newcomers as the BSN community will surely dwindle over the coming months.
This is no longer a true social network without the social component of the forum, i.e off-topic discussion. Even groups are apparently inadequate, as I was once a member of a group which was used as a chat room which was closed down by the Mods due to its discussion not being related to Bioware games.

I personally wish there was a better way of telling where you currently stand in alignment and how weighty some decisions are. Not only that but what your alignment actually stands for. It was quite a leap to see the Law path in practice.
What was your alignment?
It certainly would have benefited from something more than what it had. If I didn't search the Internet, I would have been completely unaware of how to check it at all. However, there is no way to check it at all after
I am now locked into law.

I have learned more from the internet than I ever did at high school. I pretty much failed high school but ended up going to college to undertake an Access diploma so I could attend university. I am now studying English Language and Literature at one of the most prestigious universities in the United Kingdom.
High school teachers never engaged with me in a way that would help me understand whatever it was they were teaching. I have a mild case of Aspergers syndrome, so I am quite the introvert. Apparently, high schools do not know how to engage with an introvert, as my teachers obviously thought that ignorance was an acceptable alternative to understanding. Once I finished high school, I became employed full-time in McDonald's (a place of business that I feel great repugnance towards), and I hated every minute of it. I did not want my life to feel meaningless, and I did not want a lack of understanding, a flaw in the educational system, to determine my role in society. I did not want my path in life to be predetermined by teachers who didn't care. So I sought the internet. I learned of various things that I never thought I could while becoming aware of the root cause of my flaws. by teaching myself, and using the internet as a resource, I gained access to more information than anyone could need. I sought TED Talks to educate myself on society, used applications such as Elevate to boost my cognitive skills, and Duolingo to learn languages. Of course, my self-education from this point was not solely reliant on the internet, I read plenty of books too (I read a book a week). However, it was the internet that made me fall in love with reading. I read short stories on the New Yorker and followed blogs on Tumblr dedicated to reading which subsequently showed me the joys to reading. Thanks to the internet, I am far more educated and self-confident.
I must also add, that so long as 'text speak' is avoided, we are constantly writing, which subsequently improves literacy skills.

Currently playing Shin Megami Tensei IV, and while it is a great game (I have really enjoyed it thus far), I have apparently become stuck in alignment. Quite infuriatingly, I have maintained a neutral stance throughout the whole playthrough - I have constantly checked my alignment and was consistently told that people can't decide my motives (paraphrased). However, after beating a certain boss, no matter what decision I make I am told that I have aligned too far with preserving... It would also seem that there is no other way to change my alignment now either. ![]()
I love the game, but this alignment thing needs a slight alteration.

The gameplay looks as hoped, very fluid and like a refined version of the original. Hopefully, this does turn out good! I am worried in the back of my mind that this will be a flop, although, it looks exceptional so far. I too think I prefer the original voice of Faith, but I shall wait until I see more of this game before judging the VO (she doesn't sound bad at all though).

It seems to be a very exclusive, prestigious high school
Yes, it would seem as much. Although Max is 18, so it's bizarre that she would attend a high school for a single year, I have never heard of a 19-year-old high school student before, and it's her first year at Blackwell. I know that she obviously went to high school in Seattle first, but I doubt she would have received a scholarship for a single year.
Edit: I just rechecked the wiki and it has since been updated. It is a private boarding school for senior students. Also, a user (Timjames98) left a comment regarding a theory on Blackwells name being symbolic. I will repost it here, as it's rather interesting.
I just noticed some symbolism in the school's name.
"Blackwell" at first sounds like a normal name, but think about the symbols.
A Well is something used to obtain water in large amounts. As water is important to human survival, it is associated with good things. Hence, the reason people throw coins down wells in exchange for luck.
Now the color black holds many negative connotations. It's the color of night and darkness (when people can not see and are therefore vulnerable), the color of bruises and body parts afflicted by frostbite, the color of ashes (which are the leavings of a fire, which can cause great harm) , and the color of rotting things.
Hence we have "Black Well", or "Danger disguised as fortune". And it is a fitting name considering that, despite being a school (and therefore originally intended to give students opportunity and knowledge), Blackwell is a place where A LOT of sinister and generally shady things are going on.
Just some symbolism to ponder.
Perhaps it's nothing, however, an interesting theory nonetheless.

Jefferson's photos
Spoiler
What makes me find Jefferson's little hobby even more sickening and just plain baffling is the fact that he probably can't ever publish those photos. Atleast for most of them, I don't see how he could. The identity of his subjects is fairly clear, and he can't risk publishing photos that his own students would easily recognize as their classmates. Even if they were released somewhere anonymously it's too risky. As an artist, one of the biggest motivational factors for me producing high-quality work is the potential to share it with those who may appreciate the work and find pleasure in it. Even people who make some whack sicko porno art can share their stuff on tumblr or whatever if they so desire, cause they're not compromising anyone's identity.
But it would seem this guy has such a sincere belief in the beauty of these photos that he doesn't care they can never be published. He just loves it so much..awful!
Edit: Also, is Blackwell a high school or a college? I thought it was a college considering the dorms and the fact students have scholarships and the wiki also claims that it is a college. However, Ms Grant refers to it as a high school.

Is chloe bisexual (or even maybe just gay)? Her relationship with Rachel
Spoilerbut she also appears to like men.seems to be very one way and she clearly loved her; she also responds positively to the max kiss etc
However if you look at the posters on her wall there is a distinct lack of males and quite a lot of boobs.
She does show interest in Mr Jefferson, so I presume that she's bisexual.

I can't really pinpoint what exactly did it, but by the time he syringed Max the surprise value had dropped to 0

Just more let's blame the gamers BS. If there's any reason Valve won't make HL3, aside from not needing the income, it's because shooters have evolved to the point where that game would no longer stand out in the market. Unless of course they thought they had a truly innovative game, which they probably don't.
This is what I've been thinking for a few years now. Valve are typically rather innovative, and usually strive for their games to achieve something which others have not. However, seeing as the FPS genre in now geared towards multiplayer gaming, there doesn't seem to be much that Valve can do to make HL3 stand out in this time as the previous HL games did in their respective periods. I remain hopeful that we will eventually see something, I just don't think it'll be anytime soon.

Just recently finished Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, and I must say, this anime left me quite perplexed (in the best possible way). I am considering the manga, however, I already know how that ends due to someone outright telling me once I had informed them that I enjoyed the anime (because that's how you get someone to read something, you spoil the bloody ending!)
