I'm a pretty big "soccer" fan myself, so I'm going to catch as many of the games as I can.

I don't really have anyone to root for, since the mighty Canada never seems to be able to qualify - other than the "glory" days of 1986 (we almost did a goal!!! http://www.youtube.c...h?v=agn5bG6Lo4s ) - but my father is from the Netherlands originally, so I "adopt" the Dutch as my team.

Group G looks pretty brutal.  Hopefully the USA can put Portugal out - Cristiano Ronaldo being happy is not something I want to see (apologies to any Portuguese Bronzies  )

I'm hoping we get a teaser trailer or something for Mass Effect 4, but I wouldn't expect much more than that.

As for DAI, I haven't paid much attention.  Not because I'm not interested, but I haven't gotten around to finishing Dragon Age: Origins yet, let alone DA2, so I'm not really in a hurry to learn about a game I'm probably not going to play until about a year after it comes out.  

Sucks about your PC, Derek. I find setting things on fire works well too.

So far so good: played a few games last night with silksieve and various randoms - no BSODs or crashes.

Lets hope it continues, if not I may need to borrow a lighter.

My PC should be fixed by tomorrow, so I'll send some friend requests to the new folks who have joined.  Hopefully we can get a few games in before my PC breaks down again and I throw it off a bridge in frustration.

Hate-surfing is one thing.  Hate-teleporting is on a whole different level.  Shep is a trail blazer.  

Collector SMG and Lancer are the ones I use most.  I play adepts and engineers a lot and I like that the ammo refills while you are casting powers.

The Eagle is another favorite - I use it on adepts so I can run the Commando gear and conserve SMG amps.

Valiant, Indra, Javelin and Crusader get some use as well.  The rest I could take them or leave them.

So, maybe send friend requests on xbox live to anyone who seems like "my kind of playa"?  I take it the forum names are also platform "gamer tags" or equivalent?

If you go to the Xbox Players thread, you'll find a bunch of people who have posted their gamer tags.  Send some friend requests, and add your GT, time zone, etc, so others can find you.

I have some shenanigans. On Saturday Shep, Finn, Derek, and I did roly poly volus races with one hitch: shep and finn couldn't see turrets or phantoms. Always a favorite glitch of mine.

Volus teams are overpowered anyway.  Invisible turrets and phantoms are the only reason Cerberus almost stood a chance against Irune's finest.

I hate to display my gross overt ignorance on a public forum, but you guys/gals at Bronze Effect sound like my type of gamers.

I play PC, have BotB, more than 5000 games, maxed manifest  - BUT - I play via a Wildblue Satellite ISP with 1500 to 2200 ms lag at times, so I am a partial cripple.

Love the game, love the MP, like to talk a little bit while playing, team player, use equipment and gear, do objectives, walk with scissors (walk with pizzas, too, due to lag), and willing to work for food.

Going back a ways for this question. All the pretty DLCs that gave us new characters have been out for a year so I'm curious to know: Has your favorite kit changed at all as DLCs were released? If so, what was is before and what is it now? (Geared more towards those who have been playing almost since the beginning. If you haven't, what is your fav kit?)

My favorite hasn't changed. The Drellguard is, and will always be, my favorite kit. Mmmmmm dat Drellguard.   

I still prefer the older characters as well - human engineer, asari adept, and the 2 female quarians are the ones I play most even now.  (I don't think I could pick one favourite).

Of the DLC characters I like the Krogan Shaman the best.  Biotic explosions + headbutts, what's not to love?
