I'm on Xbox. Usually Platinum, usually on mic, late night Eastern. I haven't PUGged into any of you in some time, I think. Paunchy doesn't count, as he's on my friends list. I do keep seeing new-ish people in my lobbies, so it's entirely possible I'm running into new BSNers whose gamertags I don't recognize. Hardly ever run into glitchers these days, either, so I've been more comfortable starting up games with only two of us in the lobby, or even start out solo.

I usually run the stimpack Armiger Turians with just two points in stimpack, but that's more than enough to survive the BBQ. The best was when we closed the reactor during the reactor hack ::

The shield bash is one of my favorite things. So versatile! And you definitely did well that game; unfortunately, the map is so large that I lost track of you guys wave 9 and couldn't keep the Banshees off-balance and not syncing. I will look forward to future games.

Had my first game with Marksmad today where neither he nor I disconnected! Technically not a PUG, because I went in on his invite, but I didn't know the third player in the lobby and we were joined by a random fourth. UUG gave us Rio/Reapers, and I took my Paladin Sentinel out for a spin. Really fun game with lots of movement! Thanks again for the invite!

Played a game with Rusty a few minutea ago. I got killed then revived to the Jesus pose then got switched to spectator mode then stood back up and was instantly killed. The camera was just circling my corpse. Then I was dropped. Good times

I've completed the main challenge 6 times, but the first sub-challenge 91 times. 91-6=85, 85/10=8.5, so I've completed N7 mastery 8 more times for a total of 14, and I'm working on my 15th go-around.

Just ran into Pathetisad on White/Collectors/Platinum. Relatively smooth game, though I certainly blew up (and got blown up by) my fair share of Michael Bay Husks. Disconnected when host migrated the lobby; hope to catch you again!

Just ran into wufpup (Giant/Reapers/Gold); game was laggy, but I had a great time with my Justicar getting the lag timing right and circle strafing around where I *imagined* the enemies to be to victory. Once wave 8 started, though, I pulled out the nukes

I briefly heard ClydeInTheShell's dulcet tones when he dropped into a lobby after me. Preset to Glacier, he took off, and I followed suit.

Pugging U/U/P, ran into ark171, PurpGuy, and JRandall0308. They were all Batarians, so I switched to the Vanguard (only one not in use) for full Batarian hit squad. Got Jade/Reapers and JRandall kept joining and leaving, making it effectively a trio from wave 5 or so on. We got Devices out of the way early on Wave 3, and got Targets for 6 and 10, though by then, we were pretty much out of missiles and gels (and in my case, ops packs as well). Lots of BatMelee, and I tried to hate-surf, but it was 50/50 on whether the melee would register. Fun game, with ark171 as our lone survivor due to Prime/Phantom stagger-stagger-kill combos.

Seeker Swarms good luck.... I hate that power, and never spec into it. That and Biotic Orbs shall remain forever undone in my manifest.

I'm also looking to get those (seeker swarms) done. Not having any fun with that at the moment, so if anyone has recommendations for that, pls chime in.

My best missile glitcher moment by far was one giant game with two tgi's, havoc and me playing paladin. Havoc started doing the missile glitch and on wave 3 we got pizzas. I took the pizza and went to the other side of the map. There I placed the shield down and the tgi's joined me behind the shield   There's we hold the line till the bitter end while the havoc was running around the map getting downed   I got some fan mail after the game which was nice 

I love the stimpacks for messing with glitchers/pizza hoarding. If you get devices, make sure you get to the device, start it, get 75% through it, then come off of it. Then start again. It takes your "teammates" a little while to catch on, usually, and the glitcher can't do the device, since they're glitching.

I'm surprised people think this is fast or efficient; it is neither.  In the three times I've seen it last week, none of the gold games took less than 30 minutes from my dropping in the GIP (and I landed on wave 2 and 3, so I figure it was likely closer to 40 minutes). 

Agreed; though I'm used to an average of 18 minutes on Glacier Plat because of the above, I've played with people trying out Platinum for the first time or still getting their Platinum legs (that's a thing, right?) that want to do the camping strat. It usually goes: Jugg with Lancer or PPR, Justicar with CSMG, and a couple of shockwavers/warpers for massive, fast biotic detonations. It takes longer than my preferred method, but it can be done in around 25-28 minutes (depending on objectives, and Shepard help n00bs doing devices on Glacier, or the hack in the corridor between the basement and the LZ). Objectives with n00bs is where it gets messy. I prefer U/U/P and the more mobile strategy anyway.

It's gotten really bad.  Puggernaut sits at the front with hex shield and melee amps, while the other 3 scrubs put their back against the wall and throw powers at everything.  If a banshee gets through, they missile.  I do have to say, it has to be the quickest and most efficient way to farm credits in the game.  I wonder what took them so long to figure out!

Nah. Speed runs are faster. But even if you're trying to conserve rockets, the dark room camping strategy is not very efficient on Glacier. Instead, I like one teammate in the dark room, one in the hall next to LZ, one in the LZ right behind that one, and the fourth floating around upstairs ready to go down center or basement stairs. Rush the basement, clear the spawn with powers (combos) and guns, move to the next spawn (probably upper LZ area), clear it, then mop up the remaining enemies. It's a variation on the speed run strategy, except you only nuke on 5, 7, 8, and 9, and you only do so once (or if there's a nice grouping, maybe twice). Everyone has tons of rockets for objectives if necessary.

 

But really, I average 9-10 minutes doing the Jade speed run; it's fun, but gets tedious. Being ready to take apart a map is more fun (e.g. go U/U/P, then if White, one in the top spawn, one rushing bottom with teammate backing (combos), then rotate around; if Glacier, as above; if Reactor, start at the back and go clockwise; &c.). I do this all the time with one teammate and two randoms (works best if randoms are limited to two); observe random's positions and rush spawns accordingly, and if there's too much to handle, kite back to bullet-sponges/randoms. I hope we have a chance to play with you at some point; my usual second takes as much delight in trolling glitchers as you do.

Pugging U/U/P with a friend, had a bad Geth/Rio Plat game with Razerath (who showed great skill and stayed in the lobby after; I had my CSMG Justicar build and was playing it poorly) and a random who was terrible with the TGI. Kicked the random and followed that up with White Hazard/Reapers, started with just the three of us until a Vorcha flamer joined. 3 waves survived (hack on 3), but I ruined our waves survived streak on 5 when I tried to melee a Hunter and got a faceful of Brute for my trouble. We got wave 6 devices, and the game rewarded us with wave 10 devices; in spite of that (hack, devices, devices), we finished in 20 minutes flat. I still had all my rockets by the end of wave 10, so I used four going up the main stairs to LZ to clean up the wave. Razerath had an awesome rocket on a Phantom waiting to ambush me and my friend as we came to LZ in the last second; Razerath's timing was so good that we both burst out laughing. Really fun game.

I played a Volus Engineer with a French-flag paint job in your honor. ...it did not go well; the Benning branch of la Résistance was shanked by a Phantom ("get away!") seconds from extraction, but like the true Volus Résistance, fell through the map to arrive at extraction.

Just had a Cerberus/London/Gold game with HurriedThrones50, who was trying out the melee GI. Sad to see Thrones exit the lobby after playing the GI with such panache.
