Well I got to say it is sad to see fans of Mass Effect to completely dismiss the fact of IT when Indoctrination is a big thing of the Reapers. The thought that the Reapers wouldn't try a last ditch effort to stop Shepard through one of the major plot devices used in the game is completely absurd. IT is literally the essences of why the endings don't make sense along with many other ending theories that are not IT. The fact that the endings don't make sense is why IT and such theories managed to crop up and have such a large following base of Mass Effect fans.
Indoctrination is a plot device used so Reapers can control Sapient life and have the controlled do their bidding without them completely realizing. Some cases like Saren when they finally realize they are indoctrinated it is far too late for them to turn back. Indoctrination is a key plot device used by the Reapers and to think they wouldn't use it on the main character to stop them is absurd.
The only fact that makes IT false is the fact the Mass Effect devs themselves have denounced the theory but you can't sit here and play the Mass Effect Trilogy and tell me you don't see the possibility with the Indoctrination Theory. Remember IT is only wrong because the devs say it is, it doesn't mean that IT should be wrong because in my opinion it makes the most sense.
Also another point to the endings being bad is I refuse to replay Mass Effect Trilogy and I brought ME1 so I could do multiple trilogy runs. I had to force myself to the one Trilogy run.
