Awesome to see you bring this thread over to the new place Getorex. Now I really must start messing with al these mods in my SP ME3 game, along with @Ottemis's texture mods for an almost brand new experience. Can't wait :)

And have to agree with @silverhammer08 - the place looks great, yet to try on my phone though, the ultimate test.

 

Am a little puzzled that my post count has not carried over from BSN....not that it was any near as many as some here, hmm puzzling. Maybe because I changed my display name...surely not.

I went for Colossus for everyone.  We are all black and red.  Colossus is pretty much the best armor set in ME1 aside from nice color scheme.  Though I would have prefered a camo scheme, whether urban or woodland.

Been away from the thread for a while and am still catching up (yes, I NEED to read EVERYTHING, LOL).

I like the Colussus armour in ME1, but I tend to go for the Predator L/M/H X armour depending on who it's for - and it has a camo texture to boot as well a arguably equal best stats with Colussus armour (masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Predator_L/M/H_Armor), Enjoy B)

And finally got caught up enough to de-lurk and show my appreciation for all the hard work you are putting into getting mesh mods to work @Getorex. Loving what you are doing with all the characters so far (though I have grabbed the Liara mod as is now in order to not have the decreased breasts version, what can I say B)).

Am following this thread with interest to see how much you are able to get done - especially getting Adam into the game, that would be awesome!

Now if only JeanLuc71 was up to converting all his fantastic textures to mod files, it'd me modding nirvana.

Now my fellow aussie poster above has started dragging me kicking and screaming into platinum - where I am mostly trying to not suck and be somewhat useful, hehe. Gold is still the level of choice however.

I actually chose Geth for mine - Giant/Geth with KroSent.Used Adas for mooks and lolreegar for primes and pinch. Inc IV ammo too, can't remember the objectives specifically (there was one escort, one hack, one devices from memory, can't remember what order). I too did it for Lone wolf as a 'What the hell' thing first time. Then I actually got it, forced me to do it again, hehe.

 Nicely done Qu33n :).

I've only done the 3 Silver solo's, but then jumped in the deep end and managed 2 successful golds. Yes, they wer on Giant, vs Geth, with KroSent using mainly adas, but, I got them done.

Needless to say I haven't tried since - rather too streessful for normal gaming fun times, hehe.

Keep at it, you'll make the jump to Gold (solo) soon i'm sure.

Trying to finish off Map Mastery at the moment to get that sweet Nomad Banner (oh, and BotB as well, but mostly Nomad). Only have 21 waves on Vancouver plus either 64 on Condor or 74 on London. Still debating on either Condor or London as I REALLY hate Condor.

Any takers tonight? probably after 9:30pm CST (UTC + 0930)??

I too used to PUG Silver majority of the time, doing the odd Gold here and there, and where required for weekend challenges. I never bothered too much with having to complete ALL THE GOLD WAVES for the Map Mastery Challenge - because I never thought I'd get Lone Wolf. But low and behold after spending 2 days mostly at home from work sick and taking the time, I got the 3 Silver and 2 Gold (also counts for Silver and Bronze) Solo's completed, I then switched to all the gold waves mode - which I am still in, though the end is in sight.

I have found that getting a Gold PUG lobby full usually takes 5-10mins at the times I play (UTC+9:30 Evenings) and they vary from absolutely useless to rather competent. I sometimes do a Silver lobby first, then judging by how good everyone is working together, will bump to Gold as well.

Once I've done the remaining 15 Gold matches I need to get those missing waves, I'll probably drop back to mostly pugging Silver unless I get a friend or 2, or the team is doing well in Silver.

And no, I haven't maxed my UR's, and the rate I get them drop, it'll be a while yet :(

ME1: Ashley, Kaidan, Tali, Garrus - only reason I took any of the last 3 along was for hacking/decrypting until I had the skill level myself, or when I needed it on a planet.

ME2: Tali, Garrus, Jacob, Jack, Zaeed, Samara, Thane, Grunt, Mordin - I pretty much use Miranda, Kasumi and then Legion at the end exclusively when I wasn't forced to take someone (loyalty missions).

ME3: Kaidan/Ashley, EDI, James, Tali, Garrus (if those 2 are even there).

I tend towards biotic characters, and in ME1, Lift is so damn OP I have to take at least one person with it - it's makes the endgame Citadel and Saren/Sovereign fights laughable as you can lift EVERYTHING in ME1.

If you don't count the Crusader I maxxed during weekend ops, and the Hurricane to IX during ops and now at X, my highest is Black Widow at IX, after 600hrs. After that it is the Scorpion at VII, Wraith (only :( ) at VI, Valiant VI (all from weekend ops) and everything else V or less. Still haven't unlocked the Spitfire or Lancer either *sads*.

Admittedly, I only recently (since reckoning, maybe a bit before) started buying PSP/Arsenal packs 95% of the time. With everything else maxxed out, it's now the 'collect lvl VI consumables' game while sporadically getting a UR card.

Honestly, never really felt the need to get a console, not because "I'm above all that cos I is a PC elitist", just because there haven't been any games that I need/want to play that are console exclusives, or justify the outlay of a couple hundred bucks + the game.

Only problems I have with consoles, is that they have cheapened some games due to constraints they place on resources that can be used, and slack development companies that don't do decent, worthwhile ports to PC - The Witcher (1 & 2) being about the only stand-outs to the rule. Most blaring one for me is the utter lack of decent texture resolutions in ME2/3 - though I'm of the firm opinions that Bioware dropped the ball big time in not offering a High Res Texture pack like they did for DA2.

Gonna have to go with Geth Engi as one of my favourite balanced kits. I usually take some level of Inc ammo to help out flamer turret with those fire explosions. Always fun times.

So that was you're first Gold Solo Jeremiah? Nice work *claps* (no, I did not watch the entire 93min video, I am at work...). I would have been yelling blue murder as I peeked over the top of that ladder if it were me, but you handled it nicely - always save a rocket or 3, hehe.

Finally got my first (and second) Gold Solo's done a couple weeks ago to get Lone Wolf challenge. Being home with a sick kid for 2 days allowed me to take the time to do a couple of Silver solo's (only ever done some bronze at that stage), then have the gumption to give Gold soloing a shot. Mine were slightly faster (both ~45mins), but I went the 'safe' route - used Krogan Sentinel with Reegar and Adas v Geth on Giant. Wasn't taking the risk of a sync kill wave 10 or extraction.

Well considering I've just done my first 2 Gold Solo's with him (never thought it would happen), the Krogan Sentinel is my most reliant and for me, tankiest character (yeah, I know, I can't make KroGuard work most of the time).

In terms of to play, Drell Adept and Fury would be right up there for fast paced fun, also Geth Engineer :)

Yeah, the Revy + Turian Soldier is great. Marksman plus Turian stability bonus makes it very usuable.

Though the TSol + Locust is amusing. I think someone posted a video a few months ago depicting one of his friends ripping through Cerberus w/headshots so I've tried it. I'm not as good as the person in the video, but targets w/heads tend to lose health/shields/barriers very quickly when Marksman is activated. Armor doesn't go down as well, but I guess AP ammo would help with that.

Yeah, the video was of Jay Hoxtatron (think that is correct spelling), and no one is as good as Jay at headshotting ;), just after the Locust got a buff to dmg and headshot multiplier. He was ripping through cerberus like paper.

But yeah, TSol makes most otherwise hard to handle rapid firing weapons easy thanks to both Marksman AND passive stability bonuses, especially when you add in the debuffing from Proxy Mine to the bargain :)
