On a personal level I'm basically just done with the series and no amount of trailers seems to help hype me up in anyway. Just going to keep hoping for Jade Empire 2 somewhere down the line.

Off Topic was basically full of bioware haters who would just go to the ME and DA forums to hate on their games and on their fans (you would be literally called a retard if you'd dare say you liked any game from bioware post ME2, let's not mention what would happen if you'd say you liked ME3).

In my experiance more that people who disliked things about ME or DA migrated to off topic to have productive and fun discussion as opposed to the repetitive arguments and thread found in the main forums.

Don't believe me? Check out how often DA gets compared to the witcher in the DA section. Or how in depth people went into saying ME3 sucked. It gets dull.

No, Shepard is not dead, they just went home.

Yes he did.  He even lays it out for you.  He saw his squad killed, then woke up in a strange place, confused, and without his weapon.  In this frightened and confused state, he though the family helping him were, in fact, thieves, and attacked them.

 

That was his reason.  That he was wrong, and admits that he was wrong, does nothing to negate that he had a reason for his actions at the time.

I'm pretty sure he mentions asking the farmers about the sword and believing they didn't have it before murdering them. His only "reason" for killing them was that he was in a state of panic and lashing out at those closest.

That was never the point. You said Shepard is iconic because he/she had three games, but also that such accomplishment could be either be good or bad.

Make your mind.

If it's bad, then it doesn't.

Dear anime fans. We already have a million generic JRPG's with these styles and not everyone likes them. Kai Leng was an attempt at appeasing you. It was one of the worst things in ME 3. Maybe THE worst. Bioware should not be attempting anything JRPG. Asian characters? Sure. I loved Kasumi. I wanted to see more of Kasumi. Bioware already made a GREAT Asian RPG called Jade Empire, and I liked it better than any JRPG ever made.

That exactly why he was in the game, and why he was doing ridiculous cartwheels. Even his boss fights were reminisicent of JRPG's. He just did cartwheels while you fought his minions. It felt almost turn based.

Repeating your argument doesn't actually prove it. I don't know how widely versed you are in video games, but bosses having phases isn't specifically a jrpg concept. It's been around forever and in can often be found in just about every genre of video games. Hell Saren had phases, Darth Malek had phases, even the the Human reaper had phases and summoned minons.

The truth? Jung was a crackpot who tried to relate alchemy and the moon and the sun to his "psychology" and people have the audacity to call that garbage "science". Sorry I am only interested in empirical science, not "magic/esoteric" systems under a veil.

If the ascetic isn't your cup of tea that's fine but criticizing the game which is an urban fantasy that involves magic about for using a concept that's might not be too grounded in reality seems a bit flawed. Especially since psychology in general isn't considered a hard science by the much of the scientific community at large due to it's rather loose adherence to the scientific method.
