Each time, I think about starting up ME2, I ask myself what was the point of the game. Recruit -> do loyalty mission ->
raise EMS. The Reaper storyline stalled, till Mass Effect 3. The main squad was great though.

ME1: 20+ playthroughs
ME2: 2 playthroughs
ME3: 3 playthroughs

Played exclusively as MaleShep and only really enjoyed the first game. I really didn't care for the squad or story of ME2 and it was a chore to get through both times..Thankfully ME3 was more enjoyable compared to ME2 overall especially now with the EC.

Hey guys I just have a quick question I've been seeing videos of Ashley on youtube of her in the Turian Platoon/Bomb missions. Which I didn't think was possible because they are timed missions that expire after completing the Tuchanka arc at least from what I read on MEwiki. Does anyone know the correct order of missions to do in order to make this possible or have people just modded there saves to simply get more dialogue with Ash (i.e like Legion in ME2)?

No at least not for my Shepard I was planning on going home with Ashley. I thought it was just cruel to get her hopes up and have Shepard die on her a second time.

Yup... if you lock in the romance with Ash. If you romance Ash in ME1 then Tali in ME2 but get back with Ash in ME3

I had a feeling that was case because I remeber an entirely different conversation. Thanks for the clarification.

Jack developed so much character wise in ME3 that not having her on the squad was such a let down imo.

We can only hope but I'm not really expecting anything more than an epilogue or additional cut scenes. I highly doubt they will contain any voice overs in those scenes either since the DLC is free.

I was actually more shocked that we didn't see any of our war assets have an effect on the final battle than I was of the actual ending. It was such a waste imo hopefully this is rectified with the extended cut.

1. I preferred ME1's combat over the others if I want to play a pure FPS I'll stick with COD, Halo or Gears. I bought Mass Effect to try something new.

2. Hate side quests that are timed or disappear from the inventory after a certain point imo it does not create a sense of urgency it feels more like your railroading me down a linear path.

3. I actually loved the Mako vehicle sections and finding minerals while exploring the planet instead of just scanning from orbit.

4. Lack of full armor customization for both myself and squadmates such as sizes of armor (Light/Medium/Heavy), variety of armor available (N7/Predator/Colossus,etc), being able to toggle helmets off/on in both conversations and combat.

5. I had no problems with Jacob and enjoyed having him on my squad.

6. Hale's acting is overrated on these forums.

7. I admire the VS' ability to stand there ground and question Shepard on his bs instead of blindly following them into battle.

8. Never really cared for Liara or Tali they were both very meh imo.

This is definitely my favourite moment with Ashley in ME3. I felt like a boss carrying her back to the ship.
