It's becoming more apparent that the real problem behind the DC films right now is not necessarily the writers, but the WB execs themselves interfering with the productions of their own films. The theatrical cut of Dawn of Justice was entirely on them, considering just how different Snyder's extended cut was. I am hoping the big shake-up at WB might change who is in charge of how the film comes out, because there is a lot of evidence of drama involving the actual director's of the films not getting what they intended to make.
One obvious leg-up Marvel has is Kevin Feige, since he more often than not is the man to step forth and tell the studio to back off and let the director do what they want with their movie.
