(whispers I wish I was sorry for writing the angst, but mcgee's prompt was too good to pass up)

Plus that art was amazing.

;o I am sorry though, for the tears.

I prefer Archive of Our Own (aka Ao3) since you can link pictures and references in the body of the text, it's more versatile than FF.net. FF.net has a lot of trolls and mean arses, I have both accounts but one is mainly for my DA/ME postings and the other if for my other fandoms that I rarely even touch anymore ;(

#18290977 After a month, I've decided to quit...

I have 8 characters on the go @_@ I have my canon playthrough where I do the completionist aspect on nightmare and the other ones jsut to explore different paths. I'm still enjoying the game a great deal and they will be patching more free content soon - adding what they weren't able to finish before release.

Maybe you'll be motivated then to finish :)

#18253736 The Vallaslin Project: Theories on Which Vallaslin Represents Which Creator

I doubt the dread wolf would have the slave markings considering he's basically a bad omen for the Dalish and he fought to have the slaves freed.  I doubt Solas would support his own followers to wear them, he even removes them from the Dalish inquizzie if she has a romance with him.

Matt Rhodes (iirc) tweeted that he had a Dalish tattoo explanation but that the design team had wisked it away from him in November to do something more official, haven't heard anything since so BW might release something on it or he was barred from saying anything since it had potential spoilers at the time?

#18219667 Was this a bug, or just done to make me feel bad?

>_> I uhhh just looted her and the babies and ran off to kill the next dragon. It's a made up mythical creature, dragons aren't real and if you read the codex entries, there are thousands of high dragons loose on Thedas, attacking villages and killing people everywhere. Killing 10 isn't going to make them extinct.

/clubsbabydragons /eatstheirhearts.

I am also guilty of shooting sir Woolsey and the Golden Halla before I knew what they were for. Thought they were special mobs for uber loots (like notorious monsters or something).

lmao funny how you dont mind killing people all over thedas but a dragon is tear inducing and creates a anti-killing drg movement?? Ah bsn, never change.

#18219637 Is it just me, or does the pro-Templar run make for the better story?

I did both sides and so far I prefer the pro-templar run, the time-magic thing was pretty cool but the story felt pretty linear? Hollow? I can't quite put my finger on the word, compared to the Envy Demon and how you had to basically fight your mind and your own self to dispell it.

Plus saving the non-corrupted Templars who still believe in the original goal of the Order is always a bonus. And Ser Barris, he is a BAMF.

I doubt there will be money DLC any time soon, they did say they would be adding components that were not ready for the release version of the game as freebies in patches coming up soon.

There's going to be added content soon-ish iirc.

#18126852 The Grey Wardens seem rather weak

Fiona isn't scared of the calling because she had the blight removed from her in The Calling, if you read the book. She's not a Grey Warden anymore. Alistair / Loghain / Stroud are suffering under the strain of The Calling but they don't let the fear of death consume them like the wardens in Orlais, they leave to find a solution but they are still affected by the Calling (They clearly say it when you speak to them in the cave, unless you skipped all the dialogue, there's absolutely no way for you to miss it).

Grey Wardens here, this small faction, are not a military force, they are a rag tag band of conscripted criminals and volunteers that fight darkspawn force and care only to end blights; they will go to any means to end them. The Inquisior has a trained military force that tramples over other military forces. Grey Wardens were at Adamant to finish their rituals, not to outlast a siege in a fortress that was hundreds of years old and falling apart.

The warden's own warriors turned on the mages when they saw that they were being played by the Tevinter Magister and Clarel saw the light of things finally, but it was too late for the mages since they were possessed and being controlled by Cory.  They're weak in some aspects because of their fear or dying out before ending the future blights.  The Warden Keep was an established fortress set up to outlast a siege with a strictly trained Military version of The Grey Wardens and they had the equipement to fight their invaders.

This mission was more of a "wtf r u doin' snap out of it - join me or get out" with a small group of wardens, not the whole order.

*hugs wardens*

#18126659 The Official Cullen Discussion Thread v.3.0

It gets sooo boring! They have sex like 6 times a freaking day! It is too much smut and I never thought there could be such a thing as too much smut. I ended up skipping most of the sex in the last two books so I could hurry up and find out what happens.

I read all three books in one night in hopes this got better, but it just ended up getting worst and worst. Problematic relationship romanticised by badly researched BDSM (if any was done at all) and don't get me started on the your you're spelling issues. (Also it doesn't help that the story was originally a Twilight Fan Fiction that was edited to be it's stand alone piece of fiction)

Anyways, this is off topic from CullyWully and his position under me.  (here have some sexy times) NSFW!

#18126616 How can anybody who has played DAO actually like this game?

That moment when pc people remember the pc modded game instead of the vanilla version of DA:O and think its the best thing ever,

DA:O had a pretty good story, but the vanilla version gameplay was clunky and awful, It was awesome for 2009 and the nostalgia effect is keeping you from recalling all the terrible things about DA:O. Seems like a lot of people want a DA:O re-make instead of, I dunno, continuing the story and exploring more of Thedas. DA:I is a great story, it will be even richer once they add the elements they weren't able to have ready for launch (which they recently said they were implementing in patches that were coming up soon)

Bring it.

Good god, Fifty shades of grey is an absolute travesty on the BDSM Community and erotica market. I could link you to a bunch of really good authors that post the most excellent sexy times, for free.

I get knocked off cliffs and things from my party all the time, it's kind of annoying lmao

I got from 45 FPS walking around / battles to 18 FPS in Cut scenes and skyhold skyhold to 12-15 in Redcliff. It's kind of crazy how effed the FPS can get no matter what I try to lighten up the load.

this might answer some problems though: http://answers.ea.co...highlight/false

#18115735 Dorian Contradicts Fenris About Tevinter? Guess I'm not surprised

Most slaves aren't tattooed with Lyrium, either. Fenrir's experience is pretty f***ing horrible compared to other slaves. Plus, it was heavily suggested that his owner kept him basically as a pet and a killing machine with no mind of his own.

From what I gather in speaking with Dorian, most people sell themselves into slavery to lead better lives, which is kinda messed up. Magic slaves are "raised" from that status to "normal" otherwise, unless you're a mage in Tevinter, you're a slave or you live a really horrible life of freedom.

#18115679 The Official Cullen Discussion Thread v.3.0

It's not a male quizzy, it's Artsyneurotic's Prishe Levellan, a female elf. And that's from her Red Lyrium story that she initially prompted me with but she got sucked into writing her own as well because we're evil jerks that like to torture people. Greendelle just drew fanart of it, because she likes pain too. It's mostly my fault that she's on a red lyrium Cullen kick. I wish I felt bad but he's hot as f like that. :)
