ME2 had a good start.

 

You're given a second life and see your future ex-girlfriend.

Shepard's death was the dumbest thing ever. 

The only purpose it served was so that they had a logical reason for the CC.

But then again, ME 2 served no purpose at all, except playing Dr Phil for the crew.

You have a point but they are all at fault. Not just him. The whole team apparently approved of it and they weren't planning on continuing. It's because of us that we're getting another game. I think Andromeda will be fine. IF not, then there goes his job. He better seek asylum in some other country cause we'll kill him.

Actually if I remember correctly, Walters and Hudson completely shut the team off when it came to the endings.

They were affraid they wouldn't agree with their artistic integrity.

- ME 3 sucked. People tend to lose interest when a previous game sucked.

- Mac Walters is apperantly the lead writer again. The mere idea gives me the creeps.

- Bioware lost most of its touch.

My recollection was that Caer Bronach got a tithe from merchants and the outlying era for protecting it - that's basically what "taxes" were back in the day. It's been a while, but my general recollection was that the whole thing was pitched as Ferelden being unable to protect the common folk in the area, and the Inquisition stepping in, getting the attendant benefits of feudal lordship over the land. 

Dammit! I just realize the Inquisitor could have invoked Prima Nocta.

That seems not very original then! It's seems they take Dragon Age world and some arc points from Game of Thrones and mixed altogether!? Is not a good game then?

I heard you can make Gerry to be a vampire and you have to sleep all day until it's dark. That sounds good in theory but I really don't like to watch my character sleeping in a Truman Show weird kind of way.

 

At the end Gerry dies again or you can choose? Do your choices even matter?

The Witcher universe existed long before Bioware even created the DA universe. The games are based off a series of books.

Who wants to bet that we'll have to choose between brother and sister again at the start of the game, depending on our class.

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I personally wouldn't mind if they used this game to reboot the series as it were.

ME 3 was a mess writing-wise, especially near the end. Why not use this as a chance to redeem the series.

Time to reclaim Par Vollen and Seheron and rid the world of these brainwashed fanatics.

I expect DA4's story to heavily involve qunari and their link to dragons (Plus the Old Gods) to be the focus of DA4, with Solas and the Ancient Elves being weaved in there, probably trying to use something related to the old gods to tear down the Veil.

In my ideal scenario, we'd see the new PC primarily dealing with the dragon related aspect of the plot (80% of playable game time), and the Inquisitor pursuing leads on Solas (20% of playable game time) eventually converging in the third act leading to a final conversation between the Inquisitor and Solas while the new PC does the relevant ass kicking.

I just hope qunari return as a race option.

I agree. The game is most likely gonna play in Tevinter, so I'm expecting quite alot of qunari stuff. There is also that political factions thing going on there, but I expect that to get resolved like the mage/templar war. Or maybe through a novel.

Abellas would survive. Elves like Sera will die.

I adore Cassandra. Definitely my favorite romance in the DA series so far.

I would have done it, except the duel scene already involves disregarding Josephine's wishes, and I didn't want to do it twice.

As sweet as she is, she can be a bit naive at times. So my Inquisitor decided to do what he thought was best for her.

I'm sure there's a totally valid reason mages killed her brother. 

They needed the blood of a dragon for some ritual, so they asked Anthony to get it for them. He refused and they killed him for it.

It's starting to be mage hate when she criticizes mages for some things yet completely ignores the templars when they do the exact same things.

 

Plus, that's ignoring how she gets angry you didn't cause the death of an Empress and put a racist warmonger on the throne merely because she hates politics.

Did you watch that scene where she tells the whining Templar to Deal. With. It in defence of the mages?

My impression here was that it had nothing to do with the rituals themselves, and that she disapproved for the same reason Cole or Iron Bull disapprove: you're taking extra time and your soldiers are dying because of it. That's how the choice was presented. Of course, since we don't see any soldiers die or even hear about it later, that aspect of the decision is forgettable and unreal.

 

If you were just exploring a temple you found in, say, the Exalted Plains, I doubt she'd have disapproved.

Cassandra would have gladly respected the temple if there weren't soldiers dying outside.

Then she should just come out and admit she's a mage hater rather than act like she's neutral. Also, just because mages killed her brother doesn't mean she should just hate the entire group.

 

For instance, If her brother was killed by elves, would that mean she's be justified in hating all elves?

I dont think she still actively hates mages, but her distrust still comes up to the surface every now and then.

Anthony was the world to her, she was never the same person afterwards, A wound like that can stay for a long time.

Ofcourse this doesn't mean she should put all mages in the same camp. Which she doesn't, since she respects Solas and Dorian over the course of the game.

Well, considering how she lost her brother to mages......
