As long as the game is good and the characters are engaging I'm not fussed who the PC is.

Id rather see one of the endings cannonised and see the universe continue. I love the characters and cultures and would love to see what happens post reapers

I would have liked Shepard to have been reunited with the crew. Especially kaiden. I feel so sad that kaiden was left behind after he had fallen in love with shepard. The scene where he puts his name on the memorial wall is heartbreaking. Maybe in mass effect 4 we will find there has been a reunion.

Yeah i think it's like the final fantasy thing. You control just cloud or terra say but then it is taken as given that the others are there and dont just pop out of your pocket when its time for dialogue.

I like that the crew only get a little bit of backstory. It gives plenty of opportunity for new novels and comics about them. I wish more would come out.

I think it's just simpler to say you don't like Miranda and Jacob and leave it at that.. I don't care for Jacob myself.

We're all railroaded to work for Cerberus. Shepard, Jacob, Chakwas..... Kenneth and Gabby, Rupert.

Hundreds of thousands of humans were being taken from their homes, trapped in nightmarish insect pods, and grinded down to a paste. And the Alliance didn't do jack sh*t. The beloved Council - jack sh*t. If sitting on your ass is "good", then I'll happily be evil.

And Jacob didn't spend that long there. He was recruited right before you....while you were dead. But he was an Alliance soldier at Eden Prime, then a "Corsair" for awhile.

very true. Also trye that i dont like them. I find them boring.

I guess the maind difference between them and shepis that, as shep, i was directly looking for the first opportunity to get away where they are directed by the story to behave a certain way. It may be that i have taken on a bit too much of the roleplay aspect and imprinted my own desires on to shepherd in a way i don't on the other characters.

My own hatred of the illusive man has spilled over into other things before.now. It ruined amaxing spiderman for me because i was pleaased when uncle ben got shot. Lol

I love the scene between garrus and shepherd on the citadel (with the sniper contest) it's a real bromance moment.

I think some of the best lines in any bioware game are between your squad mates. Tally and legion had some great moments and jack and samara could be quite interesting too.

Apart from the original ME3 ending which were a bit dissapointing, i i found all of ME's story (and expanded universe) great. Sure there are some plot holes and stuff but what bit of media doesn'? Even the best of tv does (true blood was full of em) so i just ignore em and enjoy the overall experience.

No not jacob indervidually. Cerberus as an organisation. I can't respect jacob because he worked for them. Same with miranda. Even if they did break away, they still spent years furthering the goals of a genocidal group of ignorant fascists.

My ranking woukd be garrus.....then the rest of em. What were their names again? Lol. I'd probably say shepherd next followed by mordin and thane. Bottom would be miranda and jacob. Never liked them because they were cerberus and those guys are evil.

Human revelution is an amazing game. Probably in my top 5 games on 360. (along with halo, ME, bayonetta and street fighter. its also one of the first games i bought for the wii u (along with mass effect) it's not got the same depth of consequence as mass effect and the action is slower paced but i think it's inevitable that any game of a similar vein as yours that is released withi in a certain time before your own will inform your own to some extent
