Thank you for explaining it to me, others who knows me well has also said they thought I wouldn't like it even though they loved it themselves. But people who doesn't really know my taste in games and my personality keep telling me to get it, so I get curious. I think I'll watch some videos like you suggested

I do the same when i am not sure.Note that the game is nearly unplayable without a gamepad but i assume that if you play the game will be on console so that won't be a problem for you.This warning is for my PC (master race ) colegues.

Isnt dark souls the super hard one???

Yes,very hard especially if you are new to the series.

I've always been curious about those games, dark souls and demon souls. My sister loves them and can't get enough and I know several bsners who also loves them. I just heard that they were a bit annoying because they don't have any save points plus something about losing all your equipment if you die, it requires a lot of patience from what I could understand and I don't have that. I really want to try them but I don't want to waste money if it turns out I don't like them.

In fact there are save points called bonfires where you can rest,repair your equipment...but they are few.And yes the game could be very very annoying.I liked dark souls sreies for their great gameplay mechanics but just like Life is strange is not for everyone.Some people like the game some not.I can't recommend this game.You should watch videos

Dork souls does have one of the best stories and background lore I've ever seen in gaming though. Check out the souls lore videos, you might be surprised.

Nope you're perfectly valid to think that it's not enough, it's a subjective matter after all. It's kinda like saying you don't like gummy bears because they're just sugared chewy candy. You are correct of course but then again some people really like gummy bears because of that, myself included. Different strokes for different folks..

Exactly!There is one interesting thing about me.Usualy i don't like games without a great story but i liked dark (dork ) souls series.Perhaps the gameplay mechanics impressed me or the challenge but i liked the games enough to finish them.So as you said it's a subjective matter.

Well Skyrim is more of a sandbox game where you have the freedom to do whatever you want, especially with the mods. I have to say that some of the mods for skyrim are truly brilliant in their level of detail and perfection akin to something made by AAA titles. I've mostly used the audio and visual overhauls along with a bunch of gameplay, character and story ones. Don't forget the immersion mods like wet n cold etc because everything has to be immersive as f#$%

I also feel like Skyrim lets you make your own unique stories as you play along, with a little use of imagination. It's like play dough, as in the game can almost be whatever you want it to be. Wanna be an evil vampire lord who feeds on the blood of his enemies? Sure thing. How about a hairy clown in leather underwear who likes to smash things with a big club? No problemo. This freedom along with the numerous innate quests already in the game as well as the plethora of quality mods is what I find to be so charming about Skyrim. Hey it's no Kubrik but it sure is tons of fun!

I agree for the mods.This is the game with the best mods and yeah you have freedom to do whatever you want but in my opinion it's not enough.But as i said it's my opinion.I know the fans of the game won't agree with me.

Life is strange first episode is free on steam... or at least was a couple days ago when I checked. Should get it?

Anyway, you fools, The Elder Scrolls was the best thing to happen to video games since super Mario bros!

As i said Life is strange is not for everyone but i liked this game very much.You could try first episode and if you like it buy the others.As for Skyrim i don't like games without strong story.

(part way through playing mass effect 1 and keep getting sidetracked by Skyrim and now apparently being mauled by tigers and komodo dragons on far cry because I was sad I had to return Dishonored)

I tried but couldn't like Skyrim.I like games like ME The Witcher,with a deep story,great characters and gameplay.Dishonored is great game too.

I loved languages when I was younger and it got me my career at the military to be at the best places. Airforce told me when I was 16 that one look at my resume and they knew they wanted me, they chose me amongst 500 people and then as 20 at the ministry of defense they also said it took one look amongst several hundred but what shocked me the most was when I was 25 and I applied to work for the Secret Intelligence Service, they said too one look amongst over 800 applicants but no doubt at all, they wanted me no matter what. I'm allowed to say I worked there btw, just not what I worked with

The languages I know are Danish, English, a bit of German, a bit of Spanish and then ofc fluently Turkish. I can understand Norwegian and Swedish. Norwegian better though. I've always wanted to learn Italian and Russian.

It's Danish. Ark is Norwegian but it's very similar to Danish and the other day he kept saying those words to me through the headset while we were gaming and it sounded so funny lol, so it's kind of an inside joke

Haven't any nordic friend in my list so it's L2K nordic languages problem

Yes but I guess it depends on the games you play... if you play just shooters then i guess youd have more teenagers... its a lot like relationships adults are more likely to want something more deep and meaningful and i guess its the same with computer games... adults are more likely to go for rpgs I think because of the depth and emotions and the characters and the stories... rpgs are kind of more 'mature' games... theyre not just something to do in your spare time but something to lose yourself in... and I like that
