General Discussion (Spoilers)
The whispers as the Inquisitor headbutts the demon in the Templar quest says (if played backwards) something along the lines of "get out". Red lyrium has indistinguishable voices, except where in the Fade there is actually a codex entry that states the "We endure" lines. And a lot of people know this already, but can reverse the sounds in the Well to make them understandable.
Most places you find demons, you'll be able to hear soft unknown whispers. In key moments, there are actual words. The voices are real, if you know where to look.

General Discussion (Spoilers)
You really don't seem to know what you're talking about. All your references to Hawkes father prove that. Hawke had nothing against blood magic if you chose to play him that way. You need to replay the game because you clearly have mo idea.
Really - I have to play again to just prove that Hawke's father's situation was a situation that, in all and every variation, the Wardens made him do blood magic clearly against his will?
Chosing blood magic-friendly choices in the past in this case is irrelevant. Hawke's mother and father are fixed narrative situations where their role was intertwined with blood magic. You don't get to choose to agree or disagree with Quentin using blood magic against your mother, nor Hawke's father using blood magic. They happen and the way Hawke responds (diplomatic, sarcastic, aggressive) is always on the negative (in varying degrees). Towards Janeka and towards Larius. Towards the whole situation.
These two examples are not about my canon, nor your canon. Hawke's mother and father have two poignant, isolated situations where their role with blood magic happened because they just did. Why? Because that's how they were written.
On the side: If we want to talk about roleplaying, I had a Hawke who used blood magic. I had a Hawke who AGREED with Anders decisions, let alone romanced him. I played the blood-magic lover role many times in my playthroughs. To me, it feels like Hawke's parents' situation alone is still in sync with Hawke feeling so strongly to detest the stuff. I don't see it hypocritical, even if my Hawke clamored to use blood magic in DA2 at every turn, as blood magic isn't some one-dimensional thing that you can completely agree with in the game through roleplaying choices. (Sure, you can completely agree with Merrill for the demon and using blood magic, but the cause is just as important as the method. Merrill doesn't use blood magic for a nefarious purpose, and none of the options in DA2 where you can condone blood magic are cases where blood magic is used for a purpose like satisfying a demon army).
There are variations of blood magic - as a catalyst, as a sacrificial crutch, etc. And the methods that other people use it for. Not every action made through blood magic is the same, or produces the same result. Or is used in the same context. If your mother ends up dying because of someone using blood magic, that can still leave a bad taste in your mouth no matter how many times you slit your wrists.

General Discussion (Spoilers)
Orr, all those things could have showed him how powerful it is, and made him want more of it. Your head canon doesn't change the facts of how people intentionally played the game. Furthermore, my Hawke approved of Anders blowing up the Chantry and of Merrills dealings with demons.
You can't avoid Meredith talking about Hawke's mother. Every reaction is negative (diplomatic, aggressive, even sarcastic calls it a low blow). Hawke's father being forced to use blood magic is a fact. Leandra dying because of (all the events started by one) blood mage is unavoidable. These aren't head canon. They're fixed into the narrative. All players will engage with these. Two of the closest people to Hawke were subject to other people using blood magic. Sure, people have different decisions on their playthrough. But these are examples alone can contribute to Hawke despising blood magic.

General Discussion (Spoilers)
Hawke's mother died because of a blood mage. Hawke's father was forced into using blood magic to secure Corypheus, and Hawke had to use blood magic to unseal Corypheus AND kill him. But Hawke failed and feels that that failure is their responsibility.
In addition to the number of times Hawke said about "insane mages" (and even Meredith called out how Hawke's mother died to blood magic as some compelling bait to get her to side with the templars), and Orsino using blood magic at the end and turning on everyone, as well as Anders blowing up the chantry...
Oh god, do I have to go further?
Blood magic kinda sucks. I'm not surprised Hawke's sick of it.

Dear Bioware,
Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts was fun and proper rendition of the Game. While some visibly disagree, others had fun with it. It was quite enjoyable not leaving a trail of bodies across the floor, per usual.
Please write more fun quests for us to enjoy or possibly hate. Makes things interesting.
Toodles,
Ashe
Edited because words, such as quest names, are apparently hard.

They don't talk about the race at all in that instance. Where there's supposed to be a reference of race is just omitted and you stand there like normal...all appalled for being slandered as a murderer.

Combat, Strategy, and Gameplay
As far as the differences between CC and in-game, there are a lot of instances where the lighting in the room/environment really affects the...as I call it "glow" of your character. For anyone using makeup on their character, I highly suggest setting the makeup you like...and then taking down any blush by one step. Don't think of it as slapping on makeup - pretend you're Michelle Phan all in this and need to make it nice.
For comparison's sake, here's mine from CC to in-game:

General Discussion (Spoilers)
Is the inventory slot based (like in the previous DAs) or weight based?
Inventory slot based.
But I still think we should have storage for the different items we are planning to use in different scenarios. Or just to keep items we're sentimental about without having to cycle through them all every time we open our inventory. They said they designed this game with strategy and pre-planning in mind. Creating an armor set for buffs against the three major elements (fire, cold, electricity) for each playable character would require 30 different inventory slots by itself.
I'm not disagreeing with you. I think an inventory chest would be grand. Very helpful. May have been an oversight not implementing one. (Also, just to check out the math: it's not 30 per character. It's 21 for 2H/staff/bow users, or 24 slots for 1H+shield/dagger...if we're talking 3 different sets. You sit with 60 inventory slots at the beginning and can upgrade over time.

Crafting materials weigh absolutely nothing (and you will have a lot of it, trust me). The main things you're taking weight for are weapons, armor, accessories, and junk. You can also upgrade your inventory slot through one of the Inquisition powers.

Does the review embargo change today mean everyone is a go for prologue, maybe? Think I'll just skip the new videos, to be safe, unless they are from DA Fan or otherwise marked
No one is supposed to show the prologue. We were told only the Hinterlands. Press/Youtubers have either willfully ignored it, or just didn't pay attention.

Didn't know the NDA got lifted
Expect to see a whole bunch of EU previews and even reviews coming up, ussually they don't abide by NDA rules that good. Atleast where i live they don't. streetdates get broken regularly as well by small/midsized retailers.
then again.. why would they worry, game looks good and everyone that previews it is amazed so far.
From what I know, it wasn't. Not even the one that's set for 6 hours from now.

And now I'm beginning to wish I hadn't said anything at all. Sorry, but as I said, I'm not going to post any details as I don't want to get anyone into trouble (including myself). They weren't happy with the last leaked survey so I'm going err on the side of discretion here. And since I don't want to derail the thread any further, this is the last post I'm going to make on this.
Aw, come on. Regale us with the details ;P

General Discussion (Spoilers)
We saw the gameplay shown at Gamescom with Harding, the Avvar, and the Fallow Mire. It was shown once everyday. We also saw Keep, but you all I'm sure have seen the vids at this point on it. Nothing new as far as trailers.
We also saw a lot of Blackwall without his helmet on, to the liking of many fans present.
Edit: As far as the panels being recorded, not all of them. I saw Conal (? bucket guy...) recording a couple of times. Prior to the event I was told some panels were to be recorded and put up post-PAX.
