Cyonan's BSNBoard as the defacto new BSN (It looks great!). And of course the new themed challenge and speedrun site for those challenges and the great sub-community.

As a liaison to the bsnboard created by Cyonan, I've started up the themed challenge thread 2.0. It will act more like an announcement board, as the challenge and HoF archives will be located on prestaciouschallenges.com. This is a way to stay united and to keep BSNers who are interested in Themed challenges, whether solo, duo, trio or team, aware of the everchanging scene in challenges. AS such, I've posted AW_FC's challenge series there as well.

 

Also, this HoF will no longer be updated here. We are in the process of transitioning to the new site with the help of Smehur and Emexxia (who are awesome!). It's looking great. This is an exciting new chapter for the thread and the community. Looking forward to the future! Make a trip over and check it out for yourself. See you guys on the flip side,

How the mighty have fallen. I've always been proud to say that I play the bioware games. That they are "my games". Their reputation is that they actually care about their fans. This is a step in the wrong direction , and most of the reasoning behind it just isn't making sense. Sorry bioware. I think you guys are the only ones who think this is actually a good call.

I'd need an invite for that.

Sadly I think all of these splinter forums will ultimately not recapture what we've got here because they're all lacking something that the BSN has: A constant flow of new blood from fans of BioWare games looking for information about their games.

I'm just not sure how one works around that with a fan made forum.

I think that captures the fundamental issue with so many splinter sites. I initially started prestaciouschallenges.com to be an archive for the hofs in multiplalyer, but it's turned into much more than that, with a forum as well. I'm hoping for a way to capture the essence of the forum there (starting with probably a new title for the page, to attract new players looking for discussion and strategy as well as a place to challenge themselves if interested. Anyway feel free to check it out! Smehur has also created a thread for feedback. Any and all feedback is appreciated.

I've mentioned this in some of the me3 multiplayer threads (admittedly where I mostly hang out) but figured it warranted it's own post. I've set up a domain, new website (work in progress with much help from Smehur and TechnoTurian!) and best of all, a forum!

 

It's basically a way for this great community to live on! Sure there are other options out there, but I wanted to preserve the record of thousands of hours that have gone into solo/duo runs and challenges over the past three years (Themed Challenge multiplayer Thread) and figured setting up my own site for that was the best way. Also, I don't want to just lose touch with the many friends I've made here! As such, I've incorporated a forum on the site as well. It's a little bit of a different set-up but is pretty easy to get used to. 

 

In the end, it's turned into more than just an archive of records, and I realize there are many people looking for a new home, in multiplayer, singleplayer, Dragon Age, everything. The more the merrier, feel free to swing by and start some threads. This community definitely has a soul, and hopefully it can live on!

Speaking of which, you haven't started a Separate Turian thread there yet. I'm been anxiously waiting for it too. Didn't sleep much last night.

Also, I've mainly only stuck to this multiplayer section of Bioware, but if people throughout the forum are reeling and looking for a place to unite, please spread the word While we unfortunately cannot create groups in the new forum, we can have many threads going and still discuss many aspects of the game. We can also create divisions for single player and multiplayer, old games and new etc. My original intent was to save the HoFs but it's sort of turned into much more. I think the more people the merrier and this forum definitely has a life of its own. I know I'm going to want somewhere to turn to when Andromeda comes out, and the people on this forum are probably the only ones I'd trust for information

^ it's a work in progress Cerb R us. I'd love to have them on the new site either as an archive page or in the new forum if they would like to maintain them. Not sure how to do either at this point, but we'll get there .

Alright guys. The Themed Challenge thread will live on. This is absolutely a work in progress and just the bare bones, hopefully it will work. I was going to keep it hush until it was all set, but I can't keep a secret. Prestaciouschallenges.com is where I'll try to transfer everything over. There is also a forum set up there for members. Where we can hopefully continue to post runs and the likes as well as continue to discuss the game. Hey guys, Smehur just informed me of the news regarding the forums. I'm sorry I've been AFK. I'll figure something out to preserve everything in the HoF. Thankfully there is a long weekend ahead of me.

I'd just like to point out how awesome the people in this thread are. I was catching up on the posts and I'm truly impressed by all the kind words and overall support in the thread.

 

I think the friendly competition is great and has always pushed limits and continues to create new challenge records (see Duo thread update). I also agree that I think focusing on self-improvement is the best way to go about the challenges. It's also important to remember that everyone here, still competing, following the forums and regularly playing this game are really among the most involved and skilled players of ME:3. So just to be able to compete on this level speaks volumes of everyone's overall skill. 

 

Keep in mind, when the series started, the "For Thessia" gold solo was no walk in the park. I'm sure that first challenge alone cause some people to rage-quit the game, and for many out there, remains a challenge! Many of the soloists in this thread have tens and hundreds of solos and duos under their belt. It's truly impressive!

 

Anyway, that's my two cents. Thanks for being such a great bunch. I'll actually have no internet for a week as I permanently relocate to Noveria. So I'll see you guys on the flip side!

Thanks guys for picking up missing entries. They sometimes happen when I have multiple instances of the HoFs open and updating at once. Other times, I just plain miss them by accident. (There have been a few thousand updates over three years... so I guess overall % of correct HoF updating is still reasonable :s) I appreciate you guys keeping me honest!

Okay, I have a question about the N7 Triune Trials, for insanity, it says : Must earn Listed medal requirements (The Original Triune Trials). What are those requirements, where do I find them ?

 

Originally, the Triune trials only had one version and the individual challenges reqs listed per challenge were required. Later, the hardcore and Purist Punishment versions were added on, which no longer required those reqs, and were on gold and platinum respectively. The, considered quite difficult (and sometimes tedious) originals, with the reqs, became the Insanity version. TL:DR, Hamletic's post is much clearer.
