Im not around a whole awful lot:  I have my fictions that Ive been working on, and it's slow updating them.  I am also co head writing and programming a video game, so in the near future my time will be sucked up.  If anyone wants to volunteer to be a co-admin, or moderator I will happily accept the help

I've been lurking forever but I was wondering if there's a Cullen writing group like there is a drawing group. 

I don't think so, but we could certainly start one up.  I don't think starting groups is too hard (I wouldn't be able to run anything, because when I get busy, I am away for ages at a time), but if no one wants to get one set up, Id do it.

I don't think there has been ample time to work out the bugs associated with Windows 8.  I know a few people who are having trouble associated with Drivers and Windows 8 incompatibilities with new vs old drivers (I can't make that make any more sense because I don't know the whole story there).  On the bright side, it should be fairly easily fixable (there was only one instance where it was not easily fixed, and it was vid card drivers on Win 8 not being cooperative with inquisition).

I'll see if I can find out more details for you Zarro.  Maybe one of me friends has some tips  (You'll probably have it fixed before I find out though lol)

Oh, hey, hi there everyone.  Ive been a little busy lately, and my Cullen fic kind of fell by the wayside.  My laptop is gone, and it had it on there, so Im kind of muddling about trying to re write it on my desktop and its just not going well, so I started a new fiction, and hoping for inspiration to strike so that I might continue my Cullen fic.  I think Im having issues because I already wrote the smut chapter and now Im like, again?  Not to mention, working on my own video game, and start up company, which is time consuming )to say the least).  If anyone wants to donate some smut towards a fiction, I will happily not give you credit and pay you a hamburger in some future determined time frame  (TOTALLY JOKING!)

Sorry to hear about your MS problems Zarro ((hugs)).  Computer issues stink!  And you can't bathe them because they're electric and object with buzzing and popping noises!

It kind of feels wierd to pop back in, like, I've been gone for so long, I feel like that super awkward cousin or something?  Or Im observing wild Cullenites, and taking notes to myself "They accepted me once before, can I be accepted back after romancing someone besides Cullen?"  I noticed 5k is coming up super quickly.  I have nothing Cullen related at this time to participate, but I am looking forward to everyone else's things. (wiggles eyebrows)  

(No I didn't get all the way caught up, I read back a few pages, and checked in off an on when I had break in schedule, but I've mostly been on twitter, and not super frequently at that.  Sorry everyone!)

All drivers are up to date.  Even drivers for things that are unrelated to DAI (like my drawing tablet), and still no performance increase.

They may have fixed the shader/mesh thing that was going on, but performance is still crap.  The game is completely unplayable, and I have tried every workaround/technical support/driver update available, and my CPU jumps to 100% usage and stays there, meaning I get 1 frame every 1-5 seconds.  Something may have been fixed but it certainly wasnt the performance issue that some of us started experiencing even after the hotfix was implemented.  I enjoyed the game for 302 hours before patch 2, and i now have 304 hours of painful lag on the startup menu trying to fix this.

I ran CCleaner - result: mouse stopped working

I did a clean boot up - result: no change in performance

I updated all my drivers- result: no change in performance

I disabled Origin in game- result: no change in performance

I changed all my graphics from Ultra to high to medium to low- result: No change in performance

I was using medium to high settings prior to Patch 2, and now I cant even get past the menu, or if I do get past the menu loading takes about 2 to 4 minutes, hovering over changes in the menu (ie making a selection) takes 10 to 30 seconds for the highlight to even move.  And this cannot be blamed on my CPU, because the game was just fine until this patch, and EA Help has said straight to me, it is my computer.  I have been following this game for practically the entirety of the development cycle, and at this point I am so frustrated Id be tempted to make a rash declaration of never buying another Bioware game (which I know isnt true, but the temptation is there).

It just kind of sucks to have people say there is no problem at all, or the issue has been fixed when there are still people who are having issues, and there wasnt a problem prior.

Missed 4000 thanks to computer explosion, NaNo, and DAI.  But we won't discuss that.  I wrote a new chapter on my fanfiction (signiture) and oh yeah!

Zevran and Male American Quizzy are the same VA but that doesn't make Zevran the Inquisitor.  Saying it's the same VA is a bad argument.

Ever since this has gone live, I have been unable to access the tapestry, or if I do, it takes minutes for decisions to reflect.  The Last Court does not load at all.

I do use Chrome, and I have cleared cache/history and reset my router (in case the problem was on my end).  I switched computers and browsers, and it is still slow to non responsive.  Chrome inevitably pops up with the sick web page window saying kill or wait.

I don't know that there is anything I can say as far reproducing this issue because I type the dragonagekeep.com in and it will sit on the Tapestry load screen until the kill window pops up, or if I refresh, it will bring up a sluggish tapestry.  Clicking The Last Court offers

No I the player find him monstrous, like being forced to work with a member of ISIS in a game, I the player do not find that idea comfortable.

Which again means your CHARACTER in game won't know anything about any of that, even if you the PLAYER find it to be so.  If you want your CHARACTER to hate these other NPC's then your character will have to converse with them.  Sadly, I think at this point pulling in real world terrorist groups as a comparison just underscores that you are in fact a troll, and are merely looking for reactions from people.  To you then, I say, have a great day.  Tah.

You're confusing player knowledge with character knowledge.  Your character won't know anything about any of that except what they have heard through rumors.
