@Elhanan yea, already thought about doing that. but i don't want to mess things up if not done right.

 

@DSiKn355 oh, i actually kind of like the crafting system. can do whatever i want. fem elf rogue placing traps in the midst of battle while having actual guard to be protected is nice. (fade-touched obsidian, anyone? ^^)

 

@Elftimelady well, did not mentioned that because anyone else already did, but yes, so right. appearances in a game is very important to me just like sound and story.

could never understand people playing games without BGM or SFX. ^^

war table operations.

 

those bloody war table operations...

 

since a few days i am desperately trying to start the final mission (for the first time),

and out of "nowhere" operations keep popping up starting at 6h to 15h.

 

who thought of those gods damned long operations?

i want to have "everything complete" before starting the final mission.

but i have to wait hours, days even, in real life.

 

in a gods damned single player campaign.

 

i like DA:I much.

couldn't care less about a lacking healing spell (you get enough pots and supply caches),

even the missing tactics (yea, would've liked those, too), but if you give it some time, it's easier than you think.

could also name lots of other things.

 

but those gods damned bloody 15h war table operations in a single player campagin?

why the fkk?!

That's actually true, but You also don't deal any real Dmg and most of the Time in tough Dogfights I was just spamming the Turret to have it's Regen a Second earlier. And if there's Gunfire incoming from everywhere even Tenths of a Second may be vital.
But as I said, actually You're right.
But then, Accuracy is only needed if You go for the Hurricane for Example.

Recently I came up with the Idea of rolling My Geth Engineer as a Supporter.

Turret with full Shield Regen, Hunter Mode with Cooldown, Firerate and Movespeed+Visionrange.
Overload with Chain, Cooldown and Barrier/Shield Dmg.
No Points at all in Networked AI and ofc full protective Advanced Hardware.


Wpn: Locust with Heat Sink (I just like the Locust) 
Gear: Stronghold Package

[ Narida: Geth Engineer ]

In the first Place I just wanted to "check that Build out". Run a few Silvers with it to test it out.
Turned out to be a decent Build. And then I tried it with some non-PUGs in Gold.
Also there he's pretty decent.

Saved his own and other Players Asses more than I could've counted.
If some People are meleeing You can toss Your Turret to support them.
I can toss a Turret to a fallen Player, who got swarmed, rush in and revive him.
Also I'm damn fast for doing Objectives while the other Players were holding off the Enemies, supported by My Turret.
Fast spamming Overload strips Shields/Barriers really quick and can trigger Fire and Cryo Explos.
And with the rapid-firing SMG and Inc/Cryo/Disruptor Ammo it can also blow of Tech Combos and Things You can do with those Ammo.
And with the enhanced Vision You can tell other Players where Enemies are and/or what Enemies are about to income. (We were in TeamSpeak.)


Never thought, he'd be that decent.

What do You think about that Build?

In early Developments, ME:3 Multiplayer was about to be a FPS Game, but then they decided to make it 3PS.
And I'm really glad they've done that.
I can't play FPS Games, I'm getting [ Motion Sickness ].
I wouldn't be able to play the new ME if it would be a pure FPS.
So I hope they'll keep the 3PS or implementing an Option to switch between 3PS and FPS.
But there'd be an actual Problem.
-> Most FPS Games don't have active Cover Mechanics
So they should still enable those.

I really enjoy 3PS Games and Cover Mechanics since Mass Effect.
Actually never really played Shooters before ME.

I've thought long enough about that with some People in our Club and we decided that it shouldn't take Place prior or during the Reaper Wars.
We wanted something new and some Room to put in own Ideas about Parts of the Story.

Dice Mechanics are also decided and how Test and Dmg are rolled on.
And 100y in the Past isn't much of a Difference Tech-wise, since a lot has been destroyed and
a lot has to be rebuild first.

I'm not entirely new to creating Stuff, created different Contents for some german PnPs.
And while it's called "Turn-Based Tactical" PnP it's no TableTop at all.
Battle Mechanics are also almost finished.

It's really just about Ideas for some more Professions and Jobs.

So, well, where I live I'm in a local Pen'nPaper Roleplaying Club and a few Weeks ago I started to create a Mass Effect PnP RP.


Story takes Places about 100y after the Reaper Wars, based on a Paragon Shepard.
Otherwise People won't have the Opportunity to roll a Geth.
Also, Synthesis is out of Question because it's just what the Reapers want, etc, blah.

Anyways, the Leviathans are on a Stroll.
They have captured the Citadel, which ofc inhabits The Guardian's Spirit (Shepard) and are trying to
assuming control of the Relay Network.
The Council was forced to build a new Galactic Center (don't have a Name for that Station yet) and are trying
to more or less rebuilding the Citadel with it's Power to control the Relay before the Leviathans get their
Claws (?) on the Network.
Also, Cerberus is not dead as believed. The Remnants of Cerberus still got Reaper Tech and hid themselves
in the Attican Traverse, rebuilding what was destroyed during the Reaper Wars.
They are now the Faction, converting Lifeforms into Husks, Brutes, Banshees, etc.
Cerberus isn't anymore a pro-Human Organization. They're driven by a Goal unknown atm, still need to figure
out what it'd be.
The Terminus Systems are fully under Control of Omega and an Alliance of the Talons and the Blood Pack.
The Geth theirself started a Civil War, also need a Reason for that, too, but they're still a lot allied with the Quarian on Rannoch, ofc.

Each Character is a potential Spectre-Candidate, showing special Skills during early Military (?)-Training.
That Way it's much easier to get different Characters into one Team, since they were assigned for Mission regarding Spectre-Skills Capabilities.


And this is where I need Your help:
On Character-Creation a Player first chooses a Race, then he'll chooses a class (one of the six) and then a Profession out of the classes.
Like Quarian Engineer (Saboteur).
Each Profession brings three active Powers (each Character can have a Max of 10 Powers, from which 2 have to be passive Powers, coming with Race (Fitness) and Training (from the Job))

I need Ideas for Professions.



Also, Players will have to choose a Job for their Character.
Asari Commando, C-Sec Agent, N7/Alliance Soldier, STG Scientist, and so on, which will bring a passive Power compared to the passive Powers in Multiplayer that increases Power- and/or Weapon-Damage.

And there I also need some help: Need Ideas for various Jobs.


This would make My Job finishing the PnP much faster and I could go on continueing converting Weapons, Equip, Mods, etc. And continuing the Story, ofc.

As an Engineer-Fanboy I always found the Lack of "true Engineer" Skills disorientating in Mass Effect.
Well, at Least not in ME:1, where you had Your Hacking and Electronics.

My best Example I can think of right now is the Situation on Omega in ME:3 Omega, where You are about to reroute the Power for the Force Barriers and got to par/ren-react instead of showing what an Engineer can do.
But nooo, the Adept, also the SOLDIER, even the Vanguard, who never got real Training in Electronics and Techs can do the same Stuff as You can do, in the same Time.
It's plain odd. ^^

BTT: Squad Buffs would be awesome to create even more effective Teams.
But well, we won't see that anymore in ME:3.

Paragon.
I always want a Full Extract, and I want People to survive.
Normally I try to tell'em that's not a good Idea heading straight to the LZ.
But I'll have to help the Team.
It's like if a Team Member gets killed, I'm kinda always taking great Risks to revive them.
Tbh, I lose either one OSP than a Team Member for a Wave.

Uberfastspeed-Dodge, 90% DR while walking, Barrier of total Dmg Negation and ofc Sync-Kill-Swordstabbing.

Was wondering that during My first few Matches, too.
But Enemies don't hold Positions and will always hunt down Players, so they'd be rather useless, if automatically setup with the Spawn.
Also if Enemies would gather around Barrier Engines they'd be just easy Targets for Missiles and all Sort of AoE Stuff.

But Quarian Reaper Engineers deploying those Barrier Engines would be Fun to see I guess. ^^
Like Combat Engineers, running around and setting up those Engines.

I specced Mine for a pure Melee Build, but mainly for having Fun in Silver.
It's awesome with Mods like Strength Enhancer III, Adrenaline Module +25% and Juggernaut Shield V.
GPS with Omni-Blade and

Hex Shield: Pulse / Shock / Synergy /// (+10% more Dmg plus nuking those pesky Husks/Abos and gives other Players a Base for Tech Bursts)
Siege Pulse: Dmg / Protection / Add. Charge /// (obviously)
Turret: Shlds&Dmg / Amr Dmg / Flame /// (To keep Enemies busy until You stomp up to'em)
Juggernaut: 0
Hard. Platform: Durability / MoveSpeed / Squad Command /// (Durability for some extra Shields)

With Adr. Mod You storm over the Map and speed-Heavy-Melee everything in Your Way, actually never running out of Shields and get Your +10 MoveSpeed Bonus.

Hell of a Fun in Silver. xD
Haven't tested it in Gold, tho, seems a bit risky.

I don't claim to be a "Pro".
My first Plat was with two RL Friends, the one insisted we're gonig for a Plat Mission.
I chose My Demo Engi, one a Krogan (forgot the Kit) and the other QMI, we ended up with a Vorcha in the Lobby, where we told the other Guy, that we'd go for our first Plat just4fun, so he shouldn't expect anything special.
He agreed.
Maaaan, never had that much of a Dogfight.
Until now I don't know if I've thrown more 'nades than ressing My Friends or the other Way around.
Was still awesome, cause we managed to pull it off. ^^
(Plat is still a Nightmare for Me. xD)

Most awesome Luck I had with My Demo Engi.
Managed to nade a Phantom out of Existence with Me having barely any HP left, went back to My Pylon, setting a new one for some Grenades when that other injured Phantom mass-relayed out of Nowhere and going to impale Me.
Zing, Old Pylon explodes, kills the 2nd Phantom, saved My Life.

Supply Pylon > All. xD

It's when they spawn up there and jump down...
...and the fist one to get down fails to move away. xD

Sometimes it happened that their Sprites are just there
and their hittable Bodies are still on the Girder.
It's still Fun to watch. ^^
