Was discussing with HamleticTortoise and Emexia last week. I think we agreed that of all of the cheating scum enemies we are up against, Geth are the biggest offenders and Reapers merely cheat most of the time instead of all of the time. So I would group them as:

1. Geth: Hunter and Arrugla Troopers being the biggest offenders
2. Derperus: Because Phantoms, also stupid nemesises being harder to hit than quarks
3. Collecturds: see Seeker swarms, grabby crabs, also possessed scion instant teleporting MIRVgrenades
4. Rippahs: Magnet Hands, marauders warping time and space to elbow you despite being hit with 4000 bullets, Warp, and a Boston cream pie all at once

In terms of Shepard, when you play him you feel like a powerful man cause of how built is he and how masculine he is, I mentioned it cause I think it would be funny and great to see a smol man running the expedition of Andromeda or a large woman running it rather than just a lean fe/male instead of variety. While I think a few won't understand it or get confused, yea.

I guess I sort of get the suspicion people have with Bioware in that Bioware is trying to embrace different market demographics. This means that straight men won't be the focus of who they are targeting but they will still be included. For me, that's a great thing. For a straight male, well, there's all the rest of gaming.

Yeah it's not like straight males make up the vast majority of the Mass Effect consumer base or anything.

No one said that characters are being kicked out. The point is being made that some gamers go a bit apeshit when a less than attractive woman character is included in 'their' game. It won't hurt you guys to have to look at someone that doesn't give you a boner. No one has said, either, that no attractive women can be included. Just add some diversity.
