I just learned that it's a spoiler thingie, in the Keep, that one needs to disable. I hope that helps.
Here's the thread I just read myself.
This currently only works with the main game, not DLC, just FYI. ![]()

I hope in the future, they will give us the possibility to unlock the tiles with the spoiler option, because some of the Descent informations are important for the lore of DA....
Yeah, I would really like it if we could have the option to unhide spoilers for the DLCs now. It's been a couple of months, and showing spoilers is optional anyway so I don't see the need for ongoing secrecy.
I played all three of the DLCs, but my import of the base game info into the Keep was really glitchy and I had to do a lot of manual resetting to get the Keep to record my choices correctly prior to the DLCs being released. I don't want to re-import the world state after playing the DLCs because I would have to completely redo that, and it took me quite a while. I would rather just be able to select my desired DLC choices manually in the Keep.
I get why they waited on this, but I think it's time that they could unhide all the info for people who want to see it. I'm big on the lore/story of the games and I'd like to be able to get things set in the Keep while everything is fresh in my mind.

General Discussion (NO Spoilers)
Why not try to save up some money and get a new console before the initial game got released? I sure don't know everone's financial situation, but a year at least seems enough time to save a little each month.
Short answer: Because I was told it was available for the console I already had.
Long answer: I had the money saved up to buy a new console before Inquisition came out. Unfortunately shortly before the game's release I got some problematic medical results, had a cancer scare, and ended up spending everything I had saved for the new gaming system plus a whole lot more on the pile of medical bills the whole thing generated. I didn't have time to start saving up again from scratch before the release, so I thought all I'd be sacrificing if I bought the game for my current console was some graphic quality.
So no offense, but the "why didn't you save up money?" which shows up whenever this is discussed stings a bit. Everyone's situation really is different. ![]()

My Inquisitor was shocked and saddened to learn the truth about Blackwall, and it took her awhile to trust him again, but ultimately she decided that he was trying to do the right thing now and was doing enough to atone on his own without her throwing more conditions at him, so she gave him his freedom.

I'm worried too about this too. Before I fixed it, the Keep was registering (among several other errors) that Cullen had continued taking lyrium. In the game Cullen quit taking lyrium, and what the Keep was saying happened would have ruined my Inquisitor's romance.
What I hope is that this was the Keep's import bug, which wouldn't be a big deal.
The problem would be if the issue is game-side. If that's the case, we could be starting out with a glitched world state if some of the flags aren't correct.

General Discussion (Spoilers)
As a personal note, I have no trouble with any of my protagonists, current or previous, never making an appearance or having a mention in any installment outside of their own but I consider railroading them into dying solely for the sake of removing them from the world altogether to be wholly unnecessary. I was fine with imagining my Warden ditching the Grey Wardens and retiring to Antiva, I was fine with imaging my Hawke settling down somewhere quiet with Fenris to live as normal a life as they could and I am fine with imagining my Inquisitor disappearing into the woods.
Same. I really don't get the insistence on creating canon futures for past protagonists. I'd rather just let the part of their story that's told by the game come to a natural end, and then imagine whatever future I want for them. I don't need to see them again or even have them referred to in future games unless it's actually relevant. Then the whole issue of plot snarls caused by old characters becomes a moot point.
I realize it's something players ask for, but players ask for a lot of things that the writers decide are not possible and/or desirable, so I don't see why demands from some fans would need to dictate this particular point specifically.

Ok so help me understand this cause I am seeing some contradiction here. People dont want to be railroaded into one ending where their hero dies without their choice. However we have had Bioware games where the hero lives in the end without our choice. Take DAw for example, we were "railroaded" into having our Hawke live in the end and not giving us a choice, but nobody complained.
Life is the default state in most games (i.e. most protagonists start out as alive and are alive for the course of the gameplay) and death requires something to happen to end it. It's the difference between the default state continuing and the default state being changed by an external force or event.

However, regarding cleaner, how much dev time could have gone into more story content for some of the other areas, if the writers weren't tied up accounting for the Warden, OGB, and Hawke?
The writers chose to account for them in the first place, though. There's no reason old characters have to be included at all, or be more than a codex entry if they are. The writers are in control here, and could simply leave it up to player speculation/headcanon.

I think a brothel in Val Royeaux would make a lot more sense than having one in Skyhold.
I'm still of the opinion we don't really need one, though. Sure, it would open up a lot of story possibilities, but so would many other things.

Regarding the greenlighting thing in general: At this point I'm not worried. There needs to be something to greenlight before the greenlighting can happen, and right now I would assume everything is in the very early planning stages given that Inquisition content is still coming out. It doesn't mean that EA hasn't unofficially been positive about more DA, it just means there's nothing official yet.
If... say... a year from now we're still having this conversation, I will be very concerned. For the time being, though, this is exactly where I'd expect to be.

Also interesting that, in his last interview, Mr. Laidlaw felt necessary to point out twice, about his uncertainty regarding the possibility of future DA instalments
"...... it’s an opportunity to learn more about his (Solas) situation in a way that we may be able to explore in future games. If there are future games."
".......we have a good awareness of the kinds of stories we could tell…Again, this is all presuming we do another Dragon Age."
I think that was just for form's sake. Had he not added those disclaimers, he would have been essentially confirming at least one future game, which Bioware probably isn't ready to do yet even if unofficially they have every intention making of it at some point.

So that they could keep their saves. It's amazing how doing something for someone's benefit gets twisted into a dick move.
I think you're misunderstanding my point by taking that post out of context. I'm glad there's a save importer. What I said was in response to another poster saying that Bioware doesn't want the player to buy a new copy of the game. My response was that making a save importer presupposes the player will in fact have multiple game copies, so it isn't really logical to argue Bioware never intended for it to happen. It wasn't a criticism of the save importer, it was using the save importer as an example to explain why I didn't think the other poster's assumption was accurate.

On a scale from Horrible to Fantastic, I would rate both JoH and Descent a solid Pretty Good. They were entertaining side adventures and I had fun playing them. They didn't really add much to the overarching story of the Inquisitor, but for what they were - a few hours running around with my character through new landscapes with decent self-contained plots - I enjoyed them.

I dont get the fast food comparisons.
It would be more like....you paid $3 for a burger and you got your burger, but you thought someone was going to add a pickle because everyone before you got a pickle, but technically it's not on the ingredient list and they were all just being nice before by giving out the pickles. They suggest another sandwich for $6 that has a lot of pickles on it for you to buy next time.
...or something. Now I want a pickle.
Technically it would be the opportunity to pay for a pickle, rather than a free included pickle.
But whatever, pickles are gross anyway. ![]()

Stopping development for the last gen games was not intended to force you to buy the current gen version. They don't want you to feel the need to purchase the game again.
Obviously "force" is too strong a word, but if they didn't want customers to buy the game again why would they go to the trouble of creating a save importer or make the JoH a dual purchase?
Trying to get customers to buy the game a second time wasn't the reason for the decision and I don't think anyone is arguing that it is, but saying they don't want people to do it at all just isn't realistic.
