Time dilation near the black hole is exceptionally exaggerated in that movie.

And that the ship on orbit isn't affected in some way by the time dilation like those on the planet.

The problem with fanfiction is that you have to sift through hundreds of Self Inserts and Humanity Stomping everything. But there are good ones there.

Do you like Xcom also? If so, I recommend this crossover: https://m.fanfiction...29/1/Psi-EffectThis is a fic where humanity is viewed as the "aliens" from Xcom. There's 3 generations of the Shepard family, and awesomely written fight sequences, even one between Shepard and Wrex. I recommend this even for thoso who don't know Xcom.

I believe we as thr players will be piloting the ship, but not our character. The ship will have a pilot (which hopefully won't be Joker 2.0).

The problem is that there isn't enough dialogue options in FO4 like there was before, and even the options given are the same, with just a small remark by the npcs and proceeding to the same path.

Before my character would've been able to know about science and answer accordingly, but now he's just ignorant in all things.

Edit: I'm all for the wheel in MEA, because bioware know how to implement it properly.

I'm tellin' ya, Ryder is the N7 guy from the trailer and it's his family in the photo, but our PC kills him or causes his death. We'll have to deal with the fallout in the form of his wrathful sibling.

Nah, It's his/her sibling, which dies in the end of the first act, and you have to step in his/her shoes.

Ugh... last year's VGAs were such a face-palming event I'm struggling to see even an MEA trailer making it worth watching.

Really? Last year's event for me was so much better than 2013, and had good trailers and stuff. And no comedians presenting the awards. Hopefully this year's is even better.

I very much want a devil's advocate type of character on my roster, someone that would come out to talk after the main missions and question your decisions made in them.

But I have a question: If those "world views" are not your own, why you consider this character you, and not some original companion?

Why yes, that's a begging that I would like very much to be true. But maybe the council species are more proactive with this plan than simply being abducted by the Collectors. Perhaps the team that storms the Black Ark already have Andromeda in mind.

One thing that could give a little credit to this theory is a image in the E3 2014 "trailer" where we appear to see a Prothean alongside the protagonist.

It's possible that in dialogue they'll keep it simple and just refer to it by its new name while the Codex entry about it goes into detail about its origins, similar to what they've done before. Or it will be like Mass Effect 1 where the beginning dumps exposition onto you. Only Bioware knows.

Well, now I'm thinking that they could keep it simple in the dialogue unless you have a save file import (or world state like Dragon Age Keep), which eould unlock some additional questions in the investigate wheel.

i think that would solve all our problem. i'm still pretty pissed off that shepard was not informed on this. the council is a bxtch and would not expect less of them, but the alliance? i mean... unless shepard knows of this (which i doubt) i still think bioware just thought this through and not the otherway around. if this theory is true, then shepard whole crew could survive and maybe lead that vessel to a new galaxy, at least the useful ones, like Liara/Edi :/. while shepard is the one to save the milky way, his trusted crew should have survived this :/ idk, pretty sketchy to me. unless this is not at all the case

Well, the excuse for not letting Shepard in the know is that he's fighting the Reapers, and this plan b could affect his/her morale, jeopardizing their chances of winning the war. And he needs his crew for this war, so... No ark tickets for them. Also, the ark theoretically would be leaving before the endings, and the crew is with the Commander 'til the end.

I actually liked this idea, and it would make a great begging for the game, as you board one of the Collector's Ships in the middle of the reaper war.

But probably this won't happen, because it would require prior knowledge of the other games, or a infodump right at the beginning.

I'm actually more curious as to how thry will handle the Krogan. They will depart before the genophage is cured? Then it will have the same problems than before? (unless these krogans are more "evolved" and don't think they are ruined because of their birthrate). If it's the other way around, then you have the problem with overpopulation and all that jazz from the Krogan Rebellions.

i appreciate the effort, but being ''open world'' and we're going to explore more. i would assume it'd be much more smoother and not THAT close to the character. i would assume. i think DAI is what we should look for, i knowthey are different, but they are both being made in the same engine. while i expect that ME:A will be THAT much more smooth because it will be on this gen ONLY.. so yeah, no. i think it will be much smoother.

I think when you have your weapon holstered, we will have a more distant camera, but when it's required to shoot, we will get more intimate with the protagonist's back. Kinda like how they did with Shepard when s/he was in the hub vs. in the missions.

Edit: but of course it will all be more smoother, this video is made by just one person, I believe.

It does feel weird to go back to L1/R1 being aim/fire on PS3 games. But it's definitely the best control scheme for that controller.

Yeah, it is. I tried to change ME3 controls to thr ps4 scheme and died because of it. Mainly because I am used to only having one finger on each hand on the triggers.
