General Discussion (Spoilers)
I'm doing my evil playthrough and struggling to do the same thing. If you get Dorian's approval down low enough (he really hates it when you meet him in Redcliffe and then leave to recruit the Templars anyway), they'll be a scene where you can punch him in the face and tell him to leave. It's really intense and awesome. I punched Solas too but he's still with me but hates my guts.
Cassandra, Vivienne and Iron Bull love me. Sera surprisingly does too even though I've been doing EVERYTHING in my power to get rid of her (does she ever leave? haven't done her personal quest yet). I rejected Cole from joining up. Blackwall loathes me and will likely leave when I allow Celene to die.
I didn't want to kill off my evil pro-templar Hawke so Varric is actually ok with me despite being a colossal douchebag. Does he really leave if Hawke dies? Is it possible to go through the game without a rogue? I wish all the low disapproval/'crisis' scenes where online because they are actually really well done from what i've seen.

Yes! I love Origins but too many warriors with the same gruff worldview. While Alistair/Leliana/Morrigan will always be my favourite party team for nostalgia's sake, I think all the Inquisition companions are much more fleshed out and varied, all have very strong and different opinions from one another. Vivienne is a bitchier, funnier Wynne, Dorian is Zevran with more depth, Varric and Iron Bull are less stereotypical than Oghren and Sten, Cole is a HUGE improvement over Justice's lameness, Leliana and Morrigan have matured. Yes Sera's annoying and her world view is not particularly intelligent but she's probably the most unique and best written character in the game, never thought I'd see a 'chav' elf. I really love the whole cast, even when they hate me or annoy me.

General Discussion (Spoilers)
Judging by the videos, Cassandra's, Cullen's, Dorian's and Solas' are AWESOME and have a lot of depth and emotion. Iron Bull's is funny but a little thin. Blackwall's I need to see more of. Josephine's is cute but kinda cheesy and juvenile in places. Sera's is the worst of what I've seen, she doesn't seem to care much for the Inquisitor at all and if they aren't qunari female, she constantly puts them down. But I'm planning to do all of them at some point (trying to go for the most dialogue options with these race/class combinations):
male human warrior with Cassandra
female human mage with Cullen
male elf mage with Dorian
female elf archer with Solas
male dwarf rogue with Josephine
female dwarf warrior with Blackwall
male qunari mage with Iron Bull
female qunari rogue with Sera

"Harder choices"? I just had to choose between sacrificing Hawke and Alistair. That choice was pretty damn heartbreaking.
But yes, I approve of #1 and #3, though I personally don't need anything more with my Warden. That chapter is finished.
I meant harder, more morally grey choices especially in terms of villains, Archdemon/Meredith/Corypheus are very black and white antagonists. I just wouldn't mind a break from a 'magical apocalyptic big bad who needs to be put down' and explore more 'human evil'

General Discussion (Spoilers)
I want:
a 'Finding Solas' DLC that wraps up the elven gods plot and resolves Solas/Flemeth/Morrigan once and for all
a 'Warden's Calling' DLC from the Warden's perspective that wraps up their storyline and all the DAO-DAA-DA2 plot threads (including Sandal and who he really is)
a Citadel-style fun DLC to finish off the Inquisitor's story
then DA4: Tevinter which starts fresh with all new characters and more focused on Qunari/Tevinter issues with more grounded villians and harder choices

I think Sandal is an old god (maybe June or Dirthamen?) who created 'the Stone' which created the dwarven race. Or he was the first dwarf ever created. I really hope theres a DLC that brings him back and explains him once and for all.

Has anyone encountered him yet? It's weird that they set him up in DA2 to be working in Orlais and then they just drop him entirely from the game. I was looking forward to getting explanation of who or what he really is.

Yeah, Sera's one of my least favourite romances so far from the videos, she's cute but its not that interesting a storyline.
Just from the videos i'd rank the romances (i prefer the more 'emotional' ones):
1. Solas (yeah he always breaks up with you in the end but its still a cool storyline)
2. Cassandra
3. Cullen
4. Dorian (hot)
5. Iron Bull (funny)
6. Blackwall (still want confirmation that he comes back after sleeping with you)
7. Sera
8. Josephine

ok so the main story decisions seem to be:
siding with Mages or Templars (and choosing whether they are conscripted or free)
siding with Celene or Gaspard or Briala
rebuilding the Grey Wardens or exiling them
saving Hawke or Stroud/Alistair/Loghain
choosing Leliana or Cassandra or Vivienne to be the new Divine
any others? do we know specifically what decisions make the companions leave or stay or die? so far i've read/seen:
Cassandra always stays
Blackwall leaves forever if you romance him and convince him to stay with the Wardens
Varric leaves forever if you let Hawke die
Cole is killed if his disapproval gets too low
Varric can be killed after his personal quest if you keep the shard
Solas can be killed after his personal quest after he reveals he was responsible for the Breach
Solas always leaves at the end of the main story if he stays
You can reject Vivienne, Sera, Blackwall, Iron Bull, Dorian and Cole from joining the inquisition and they can never come back (Cassandra, Varric, Solas being the only compulsory companions)
What about the others? I don't want to accidentally ****** someone off forever. I thought the whole game would leak by now, also want to know about Sandal

The bit that killed it for me was the big epic scene after you save Haven where you walk through a crowd of hundreds of NPCs cheering you is GONE in the 360 version. You literally walk out to the big music and there's one guard.
After i saw that I gave up and am now researching where to buy an Xbox one for cheap.

This is really more of a main story spoiler but here you go:
SpoilerIf you choose to recruit the mages over the templars, there's time travel craziness that sends the Inquisitor and Dorian (mandatory party member for this) a year into the future. Leliana will have been tortured for a good part of that time. As will the two party members besides Dorian and the leader of the mages. Near the end of the quest, Dorian and the Inquisitor go back to when they came from and everything that happened during the year they were gone is undone. Leliana won't even remember it happening.
So

YES! LOVE this idea. Can't wait to dismantle the whole Chantry and tweak it how I see fit. I don't see the problem with these choices or why people are so passionately against it. At least they are characters we get to know in depth throughout the whole game before we make a decision. I think people take the Maker/Andraste/Chantry/Jesus/Christianity allegory waaaaaaay too seriously and rigidly. Would love to live in a world where a black witch was the Pope.
