I thought I did see one video where Bull said something negative about Tevinters, and Dorian had the same "suspicious friends" remark.

 

I'm planning to do one run where I don't take anyone for that cinematic for screenshot purposes. I'm wondering if that dialogue is skipped altogether. As usual, I just have to add: poor Felix. I just want to hug him .

 

 

I don't regret my chosen playstyle of not taking paths that are too different, such as bringing along different people, but it is a shame that I've missed some lines like that.

As I recall, Bull actually warns you against trusting "the pretty ones." 

If I didn't dislike the Dorian x Bull pairing I might have thought it was cute.

Of the replacement forums, I plan to sign up for Cyonan's BSN and possibly Fextralife. I'll see which has an energy more to my taste as time passes. I'm also already present on both VSN and TSG, but I lurk more than I post on both.

This was just posted in the pinned "Concerning our Forums" thread. Looks like Cyonan is trying to maintain forum structure and eventually the theme. Brand new, so at the time of this post there is not much content yet, but it appears to be attracting former BSN members.

But the con isn't killing the griffons, that was stupidity.

 

The con is shorting lives, tainting men, making them go crazy enough to seek the underground.

Can't those both be cons? 

Everyone who payed attention while playing Dragon Age: Origins knows about the negative effects of the taint. I chose a different example. 

Looks like I picked the wrong time to revisit the forums. I guess losing access to my original account (mousestalker) should have been the big tip off.

It extincted the Griffons because they had the brilliant idea to used it on them, and they couldn't resist the taint but the ritual by itself saved more than destroyed.

Serious question, has anything good come about as a result of blood magic in the series thus far? Where blood magic goes, disaster always seems to follow.

In one of the books, it arguably ended the blight while leading to the extinction of a species (not just any species, but one with significant tactical advantage against the blight).

Pros and Cons.

Again, I have absolutely no sympathy or pity for anyone who helps commit genocide. Not one shred. Genocide is the most evil deed known to man. It is the pinnacle of atrocities. It needs to be met with the most brutal, merciless response possible. There is nothing you can do to genociders that they do not deserve.

Genocide isn't remotely the right term, though. It was a massacre.
