I've been playing TW3 for 151 hours, so far. I have had zero crashes. Enough said.

Downloaded and activated the Black Emporium today. Not overwhelmed or underwhelmed by it. It is about what I expected, TBH. Nothing epic and nothing horrible. This just in. The Battlemaster Mail is still ugly. The Battlemaster Coat is still meh. The Battlemaster Armor is still Sturdy unless you can figure out how to make the Superior appear in the Whispering Wastes. Not worried but not dancing for joy either. I can buy a bunch of crafting materials I don't really need and a few weapons schematics I also don't need. The mirror still can't make black hair Black.

Fans that are attached to the motherboard fan controllers are in the motherboard's power budget. I should have made that clear before. Only fans, lights, or pumps that use a power supply lead need to be accounted separately.

Each SSD you add will only cost you about 10 watts of power, so you can go crazy with those if you want. Spinning drives cost around 20 watts, each so you'll make around 100 watts of power draw per 5 drives. The controllers power draw is negligible unless they require a supplementary power cable. The motherboard itself draws between 30 and 60 watts with nothing attached. Memory power is hardly worth mentioning. The two big power draws on any system are processors and graphics cards. Start with 200 to 250 watts for all systems except processors and graphics cards and you should be able to easily figure a power budget that will cover anything you need unless you go crazy with fans, pumps, and lights.

I have UE3. I think I'm just putting off looking at UE4 because I know it's what I'll wind up using. My OCD makes me look at everything else first. Anyone using CryEngine?

I was looking at game engines and programming utilities today. I can't make my mind up. I want a 64 bit engine but I want seamless tools instead of a piece from here and a piece from there. I'm such a nudge.

Dislike: The camera shaking every time I tried to aim a weapon comes in an easy first for me. After all. Why design when you can just cheat? I hated it. Perhaps it was made to numb the hands of the controller crowd, but all it did for me was tick me off.
Like: I guess I like that the endless cut scenes finally ended.

Plus it will cut way down on the cursing when your "companions' do one of the really, really stupid things they constantly do in combat. lol

Destroying the Reapers is the moral equivalent of unplugging a toaster, then taking a sledgehammer to the parts. Trying to make it seem like some horrible genocidal decision is ridiculous on its face. Killing a chicken to eat is closer to morally repugnant than destroying a machine with delusions of grandeur.
This idea that control is not the completely evil choice is also ridiculous on its face. Destroying the reapers is the only sane choice available. You have zero ability to discern the reapers motives for a truce, zero ability to prevent them cheating any agreement at will and zero reason to trust anything they may say when faced with a choice of compromise or be destroyed. Even giving them the illusion of free will is too much credit for a machine. Wake up and smell the coffee.
They have invaded your home and when they start losing it's, " Oh. Sorry. My mistake. If you'll just let bygones be bygones we can coexist with you in charge."
You're damned right it was a mistake, but don't worry. It's a mistake you won't be repeating.
The same treatment goes for Cerberus, BTW.

I just finished vanilla Mass Effect 3 for the first time. What a let-down. It actually has me a little angry.
I feel cheated.

I just finished my first ME3 playthrough. No wonder everyone hates the writer's guts. What a cheat. A 3 hour cut scene, with a little combat and dialog mixed in is not my idea of fun. I thought the Illusive man would never shut his pie hole. If they wanted to entertain me, they should have give me the option to shoot his dumb butt after his third word. They would have been entertaining.
But no. They have to try to advance some obscure philosophy that makes absolutely no sense. Give me a break.
If I wanted to hear idiots expound philosophically, I'd go to church.

Intel has announced that the Skylake processors, based on the 14nm process and the Z170 chipset will begin shipping to manufacturers in May. What does this mean to us? We should see the first products (almost certainly a few notebooks) in the June/July timeframe.
No announcement for the Skylake S (The desktop part), but with the shipment of the Z170, the desktop processors should begin to be sampled around the same time.
The Z170 supports DDR4 and DDR3L. Not much other info at this time. Stay tuned and I will try to keep everything up to date.
A 2-core Skylake processor is 64% of the size of the same processor on the 22nm process ( Haswell)

Let me finish this extended playthrough and I'll make a support type character if you're going to take the lead. I'm open to suggestions for a character class to support your leader. I'll have to make a SP game and get used to its idiosyncrasies first, though.

If we were to go into a multiplayer game, you'd be stuck holding my hand since I've never played one. Not even sure how to start such an undertaking.

I see that NVidia wants another chance at my graphics settings in DAI. Not Happenin'. But thanks for tryin'.
Just finished ME1 again. Maybeso I can now play ME2 all the way through again, then finish another ME3 playthrough.
Maybe not. Who knows?

I'm not sorry to say that I'm as healthy as a roach. I hope you folks feel better soon. I hate being sick.
In the meantime, I'm trying to go on a buying moratorium to save money for my next big computer build. I really don't like buying this stuff piece by piece. I'm hoping that the prices of some of this stuff will meet me in the middle, so to speak. lol

What if technology has advanced to the point that same sex couples can have children?
What if technology has advanced to the point that asexual reproduction is possible?
