I have been playing this game for over 250 hours and would like to finish it.  Apparently something prevented me from getting the enchanted rune that destoys samson' armor.  I can't seem to keep all four players alive long enough to finish him off.  Just when I think I beat him, my last player dies.  Is there a way to get the rune from Dagna without going too far back in the game.  Origin has been absolutely no help in letting me know if there is code written in the easy mode that has Samson losing after so many boss fights.  They can't program a player to lose the game and not continue, or else nobody would buy these games.

P.S. -  I'm 63 years old and I just don't have fast reflexes, but I've gotten this far, and I just want to FINISH THE GAME.

Thanks Chardonney.  I'm trying to repair the game on Origin.  If not, I'll try a delete and re-install.  I don't have the load file from 38 power points anymore, so I am going to

try to get back to the 30 PP.  I'm also going to switch over to gamepad.  The glitch in that quest could be in the mouse and keyboard, since every walkthrough I see is on the gamepad and not the keyboard.

Can anybody tell me why the ring would not be in the fountain. Is that ring supposed to be in my inventory?

Is the missing ring a bug? I'm using the PC with the mouse and keyboard?. I noticed after the missing ring

no other items are available either. I'm level 15, I had 38 power when I started.  What can trigger items not to be there?

Please help.  I've read every walkthrough so I know where to find everything.  If I go back to when I had the silver ring in my inventory,

my power pints were at 20, so I'll have to spend another hour or so to get back to the 30 I need.

After I meet Gaspard I'm supposed to go to the fountain to retrieve the

silver ring that the noble woman lost.  The ring is nowhere to be found at all.

Does the ring have to be in your inventory?  If so I rmoved it when my inventory was full

in a previous quest. I noticed that no coins or statues can be found as well.  I'm using my

PC. Is this a bug? 

Does anybody have a real answer.  It is definitely not anything I missed.
