There's nothing to be conspiratorial about it all, they explained exactly why they are doing what they are doing...

 

They also just left open why they were going to other places, and that reason is simple, all the non-constructive abuse from here.

Mass Effect 3 was a big let down to me. And I'm not just talking about the ending. Story, lore, difficulty, etc, all bad. Multiplayer was the only thing that saved it.

How is it a good move? All their doing is losing consumers and fans, lol. It might be good for marketing, but not so good for their wallets 

It's more gain then loss. Posters here are more BioWare dedicated fans then anywhere else. Meaning we're still going to keep giving them money because of it. If not, we'll soon forgive and forget. And the gains of shutting this voice = less vocal backlash against Andromeda and future BioWare titles.

IT's just the special little snowflakes at Bioware are tired of all the genuine heartfelt opinions. Specifically, the ones that aren't kissing their butts. Their poor lil feelwings are hurt and so enough is enough. Makes you think they are proactively dealing with future unfavorable opinions. Because that "no devs post here so it's pointless" line is pure bs. People come here to interact with other players. Not talk to devs. If they aren't confident in MEA why should anyone be?

Well think about it. This forum can be like one big mob. And how do you handle an angry mob. You disperse it. After this place shuts down, everybody is going to migrate to different areas.

They want to cover their precious money covered ears from feedback they don't want. 

Well yes. But from a marketing standpoint, this is a good move. Wrong. But a good move. 

What if BioWare is worried their game might not be that good, or at least that good enough to please the crazy expectations of this forum. Remember last time when ME3 was getting all the crazy backlash? No place was more vocal and quoted in other media.

I think we need someone to create a forum with the Mass Effect or BioWare name in it (Unofficial Mass Effect or BioWare forums or something) + giving it the same theme. This way it would make it more appealing to new players just discovering the games and looking for a forum to discuss them. If someone could install the same like system, that would be a bonus.

I know at least 4 of the names of sinful's altz...bunz made his too obvious and were way too many to name.. I know 2 of QMR's...and 2 of SMR's.

I might give them all up during my August 26th Judgement Day party. Until then, feel free to guess.

Yep. Between no MEA forum and DAI's fetch quest system being their blueprint for MEA, I'm kind of at a "uhh I guess" feeling for the future of the series.
