It's... interesting. It is a mixture of Baldur's Gate isometric tactical combat and Fallout franchise's action points turn-based combat. The locales are pretty. Can't say much for the story yet. Being able to make your two main characters and control their conversations, even between each other, with AI personalities, is intriguing.

I'll agree with dat. I am trying to be cautiously optimistic. Though Inquisition is a game they started forming before even Origins shipped, apparently.

I don't know anything about changed plots, but you can smoke as a dialogue option.

... I do love my smoking dialogue options. Yeah, no, someone on the forums posted this massive thing detailing who is the killer or something, then the developers changed who it was in the second season. I don't know anything beyond that I haven't played it. I might just check it out.
