Yeah, I used to try Legacy Challenges back with Sims 2. Meant to try one where I added an expansion per generation, as I reinstalled them on the current computer. Buuut, I never got around to it. I do still play the SIms 3 though. Waiting for 4 to go on sale before I try it.

In many ways, Sims 4 is a downgrade. I used to be a huge Sims 2 fan, had played since Sims 1 but liked Sims 2 best. Then got Sims 3, and it's just not the same. But now that I have the Sims 2 Ultimate Edition, I find that it makes me want to go play Sims 3, for the open world. I think I'd miss the open world in Sims 4, also.

I haven't actually met him in game yet. But I already had planned a Dalish... whether she had a romance or not she was my primary candidate for first playthrough--with female qunari mage being the most likely next one. Either that, or dual daggers stealthy qunari male rogue. For giggles.

... and the ONLY way to get the Tevinter Laetan mage is if they are given out or won somehow... even though it's just a rare, it's a good character and I did NOT want to lose it...

Eh, it's just that we deal with the same people, or the same types of people, appearing over and over in the Could We Please thread... it's gotten very old. I should be nicer, but I was nice in the past and it did no good, and they still don't read any of the rest of the thread.

Vertigo/DC comics. Not sure if there's digital versions, but it wouldn't surprise me. The main series (there's a spin-off series or two, though I haven't read those) is currently 19 volumes long, with the 20th and final volume coming out next year. It's a monthly series that's been going on since... 2002? 2003? But I buy them in tradeback format, as I tend to do with most comics I follow that are more concise than your typical superhero epic. Volume lengths vary depend...

I don't think it's just your playthrough, unfortunately. :\ Problematic, but I liked it in spite of that - finished the fifth episode a few days ago. I might be biased though, as I'm a fan of the original Fables comics as well.

Additional Note: Reading the comics first/at all certainly isn't required, no. It all stands on its own. It does, however, add a lot more backstory and some issues resonate slightly stronger if you know what happens in the comics. Though, if you've read the comics it kind of ruins the suspense of some things, since you know certain characters who also appear in the comics.
