LOL! I actually have Mira's outfit - I used it for my PVP outfit on my JK until I switched to Mantellian Privateer because of the color combo (it's the same as Mira's outfit, just different colors).

Dress Corso like a smuggler (thanks adaptive armor!), get rid of the silly haircut, let him use Torchy and he can look quite good. Don't get me started about SWTOR fashion. Keeping a dozen heroes and all their companions looking awesome feels like my life work at times. :P

@jack: Well, I COULD, but I'm already rocking the combined Canderous/Atton outfit - dibs on the best look! It felt like a ton of work just mixing and matching gear for my characters (I still need to work on an outfit for my Consular, though). Anyway, I suppose Corso is a bit of a moot point now - I hit Yavin 4, so I'll be getting him the complete Corso companion gear soon. Sidenote: Doc's Yavin 4 gear actually looks good on him, so I'm cool with his default look.

As soon as I see that f---ing E title assigned to me, I'm telling Cheri that I refuse to work on any of his titles ever again (and then I'm going to tell her exactly what just happened with him if she's unaware of what just went on). I'm done with flaky, egotistical lunatics who apparently don't even enter their own edits and THEN proceed to threaten me over what turn out to be completely imaginary issues.

Sounds to me like he couldn't find another publisher and has come crawling back. Good for you for taking a stand with him. A job is a job, but no one should have to put up with people like that. Hopefully your employer backs you up :)

In his latest rant (before the apology), he stated that he was the single most important author that we would ever get (yeah, riiiiiiiight). He also claimed that he turned down offers from multiple literary agencies (suuuuuuure) to self-publish. Look, instead of calling us scammers because you screwed up, maybe it's those literary agencies who were the ones scamming you - that's if you weren't making the whole thing up.

As for the total 180 in his last e-mail where he apologizes for his tantrums, it turns out that HE didn't even fill out the edit form himself. Gee, el estupido, you were supposed to fill out your edit form yourself. Why was this farmed out to someone else? And if you chose to do that, then YOU were responsible for checking that person's work. Calling US scam artists because I said you had to follow procedure after YOU were responsible for f---ing up and then trying to extort free edi...

A short summary of the OP's original post is this: everyone who left for Andromeda is a coward. Apparently, having a backup plan to avoid the seemingly imminent extinction of all intelligent life in the Milky Way is a bad thing. Instead, the OP thinks that everyone should have been "brave" by staying in the Milky Way and should have TOTALLY have put all their eggs in one Shepard-shaped basket. Oops, there's that sarcasm thing again! :P

If, by the way, my response to what this author tried to do somehow results in me getting fired, then GOOD. I've had it up to my eyeballs with these authors lately (and hey, I guess we'll get to see who ends up making more money if/when I finally have sufficient time to complete a novel - me or De'Lure, the completely talentless hack who couldn't punctuate his f---ing way out of a paper bag).

In this instance, Captain Ego (a much better pen name :P ) would be the customer, and I can confirm through personal experience that the customer is NOT always right, and you shouldn't have to take any crap for doing your job. I hope things work out the way you want them to, and next time you're in the Herald's Rest, allow me to buy you a beer :)

It was entirely worth it just to have my own personal indoor waterfall! Also, I think I mostly know where I'm going when I'm there now. Unfortunately, I had to deactivate my Dromund Kaas apartment to make room for Yavin 4 (that being said, since DK is depressing and rainy, I guess it's no great loss - wish you could have ALL your strongholds active, though).

I liked the Consular's story a lot, probably because in the vein of the Inquisitor, it traverses around the mysteries of the Force. To me, the Trooper's story is the most boring one in the game. The showdown with Tavus was particularly anti-climatic.

@Chris: Well, I liked the Consular's story, and the ambassadorial nature of the story appealed to me (I like being a peacemaker as a general rule). I kind of think of it as my Consular being a bit like Sarek in Star Trek - only with Force powers. I do agree with Jack on the Consular companions mostly being dull (although Holiday certainly is more entertaining than some of them).

Okay, so this idiot basically can't type accurate text in, so he enters this sentence from - I swear to God - book page 8. The edit said it was on book page 186, but I found the sentence (and it's completely DIFFERENT from the one he apparently intended to change - like 100% different) on book page 8. In such cases, the natural assumption is that the author just entered the wrong page number.

Based on some back and forth with the AR over this mess (and a subsequent change - one in which he yet again managed to screw the existing text up by entering THREE imaginary, non-existent words), I just realized that the idiot author misled me into replacing the wrong sentence the first time around. Now I need to find out if the original sentence has to be restored, along with fixing the OTHER stupid mistake that he made.

I'm furious because I kept finding other errors and had to recreate the final print files four separate times yesterday (or EIGHT times since the HB was a different size, and I had to edit it separately once I moved things to the server). Stupid people like this author are why I'm such an angry book designer.

Yes, the Sniper/Gunslinger are a great class. Their damage is insane. So did you use Kaliyo the entire game? Interesting. I'll try that on my next Sniper. I switched to Doc Lokin when I got him, since I wasn't sure wether tanks would be able to keep up late game.

@Milan: I really loved my BH as far as ranged went! As for my IA, yes, I really used Kaliyo the whole way through (except for the part where she was in Imperial custody and was unavailable...). I was a Virulence Sniper, so honestly, I just AoE'd pretty much everything. Kaliyo kept all the mobs on her, so I didn't really work too hard at it - lol.

I think Dr. Lokin was cool, but he can't make mobs cluster up the way that Kaliyo can. I suppose another factor is that I was, as a general rule, usually a bit higher than the mobs. I do have to wonder how well it will work on mobs of equal levels - this is something I'll have to test later when I hit the level cap.
