Compounding the already incredibly annoying problem are the following two things: 1) She UNINDENTS the first line (which should be indented) and 2) she then INDENTS the second broken line (and makes me ten million times more angry by actually entering tabs).

Which should give you a good idea about this author's writing skills (or lack thereof *shoots withering look at author*). That is so incredibly stilted and doesn't sound like anything a real cop would say - or even fake cops on tv shows. Also, it doesn't really make any kind of sense to me, and there are typos.

Pretty well once I sorted things out. I beat the final boss earlier today, but I stopped there to farm some blood echoes and to create/explore some chalice dungeons. I'll probably kill the secret boss tomorrowish. I just want to get some final achievements (seem to be missing one or more workshop tools and some weapons, which are available in the chalice dungeons only).

Exactly, I didn't even know about this list until you linked it, and I basically hate all those fonts. I saw something about dwarves and elves, so I can only assume that he thought he was using some font appropriate for a fantasy novel...I really can't explain why. NOTE: I don't really hate Papyrus and Comic Sans THAT much ( sparing and appropriate usage I can live with) - those two mainly induce minor eyerolling. But yeah, this author used TWO of the fonts on the list.

I hadn't mentioned it, but he insisted that Viner Hand ITC be used for certain passages in his enhanced interior, so yeah, he really insisted on two of the fonts that made that list!

Oh, and the reason I'm headdesking at the moss description: look, a whole forest (which the author might have been describing) might appear to be somnolent, but the moss PROBABLY doesn't. Really? Because ONLY the moss in the forest seems sleepy/drowsy?

FYI, I stayed up until 2 or 3 AM and kept failing - at which point I figured I should probably sleep. Got up a few hours later and tried again - I failed once, came close the second time, and I finally kicked his butt on my third attempt. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!! I may be getting the hang of the controller, although I tend to hit the wrong buttons when I go into panic mode - lol.

I actually had to go look up some information this morning because I was doing things totally wrong...thought I had to fight this monster, but apparently I had to go through a different door...and THEN go back and fight the monster. I will say that my friends who are already playing it really like it.
