@Keala: lol - thanks. I just got an e-mail back from the AR (author rep), and she said it was one of the main authors who stepped in and approved things. Thank God, because I was about to walk on this thing if the harpy co-author tried to the push things with the Appendix I table(s) that she totally messed up (you have no idea how much time I spent dealing with her screwups with the tables).

And pro tip for the author: when a new character starts speaking, you're SUPPOSED to start a new paragraph - not stick all the dialogue from multiple people into one incomprehensible paragraph. Yo, if I saw something like this as a potential reader, I would not buy the book based solely on the dialogue fail. The one exception to my rule is probably "Blindness" by Jose Saramago (the translation nearly drove me cuckoo with the formatting, but it was interesting enough to put up with...

Final episode airing today, but because my dad is being kind of a dick over a stupid football game (not even our team), I can't watch the NGN broadcast. Bloody show is only 40 minutes, and he could watch the rest of this insanely boring not-49ers game afterward, hmph.

As much as I like Kimutaku and the show, not exactly sure I really wanted to cough up $40 to basically watch one episode. I like jidaigeki, but the odds are low that I'm doing any repeat viewings.
