I'm always impressed by how far they go to keep it looking exactly like Frank Miller's art style. Even if the film is terrible, I'll probably see it for that. But it will have a hard time topping Guardians of the Galaxy.

@Fort: Oops, I think I forgot to mention that I did get around to memorizing (or at least recognizing on sight in certain cases) 300-something kanji. The total number of standard kanji is around 1950 or so. There are also a couple hundred others beyond the standard ones, but those can wait. :P

I am not kidding - this novel is around 300 pages in Word (possibly shooting up to 700 pages at the page size the author chose)...and there are no chapters. You know, this doesn't seem like the best decision ever.... *rolleyes@authors who do really weird things*

Well, at least it was otherwise normal. I still think the lack of chapters is unwise, but the author's punctuation and grammar were okay.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to Sharknado 2 for what I have no doubt will be totally cheesy, B-movie-level silliness. Of course, Mega Shark vs. Mecha Shark had a high level of silliness (still can't believe that Teal'c from SG-1 was in it - yep, Christopher Judge and a mechanical shark...).

Yeah, I had to try...four-five different players (plus an extended amount of time trying to make that VLC Player work based on the guide that is supposed to allow you to get the stupid thing to play blu-ray discs).

True, maybe I should have looked this up in the past, but to date, it hasn't been necessary to do anything particularly advanced involving Text Variables in InDesign. Today I finally had a reason to read up on it because an author wanted chapter numbers and chapter titles in her headers.

The only bad part is that the author didn't actually number her chapters like she was supposed to have done. While I would normally be kind of irked by authors who don't have the common sense to type in their chapter numbers above their chapter titles (especially when they make a special request like this), I'm still jazzed enough about the running headers that it cancels out the annoyance factor of me having to type in her chapter numbers for her.
