Also, if anybody has a better method for recording gameplay than FRAPS, I'd love to hear it. Not having to use Steam screenshots would give me a little more control and I might even be able to make gifs for some of the tricky parts.

If you want High Quality images on Fraps set them on *.png.
For video it's very CPU or G.Card consuming. Sometimes it drops my framerate 10-15 frames while recording a video game.

Yeah it's quite the beast. In theory it could carry several AGM-129 cruise missiles externally but they never did that due to START treaties.
