Don't like that she resents you for it? Or something else?
Personally, I suspected she was abused in the Templars- irony, considering the state of the Circle, but I somehow view her hard life as being a bit harder than they ever went into detail for. Just me, though.

Well, it's less about the resentment and more about the sharp contrast between how happy she was in Act 1 and how fatalistic and sad she got afterward. She seems to view being in the Wardens as barely even being *alive*. Carver at least seems more mature and even a bit jovial about it, and he views being a Warden as an opportunity to be a hero. Whereas Bethany is just, like, a husk.
