That's cool, and I totally get wearing out on the BSN. It has been pretty slow. The only advice I can give you on thesis stuff is this: It's probably still a while away for you, but get a bigger head start on formatting for your thesis deposit than I did. That was actually more stressful for me than the dissertation defense (they usually won't let you defend unless they're already pretty sure you'll pass).

That makes sense; I should probably change my own handle pretty soon. 'osbornep' is pretty lame. Things are going pretty good for me; mostly grading tests, doing job market stuff, and teaching light-hearted subjects like abortion and euthanasia.

Well, "Death in the American Civil War" sounds like pretty uplifting stuff, but hey, at least it give your students something to be depressed about other than their grades, right? :)
