is it a 5/5 or is your spring going to be lighter? do you know what the courses will be?

I'm teaching at a bunch of different places; 2 courses at one location, two at another, and one at the third. I'm not sure how spring is going to be, but it looks like some of the places I'm teaching at are a bit short-handed. Two of the locations I teach at wanted to give me another course.

That sounds pretty frustrating. English is a pretty dumb language in a lot of ways, and doesn't sound great with an American accent anyways, so they really don't have any reason to complain, honestly.

Speaking of listening to yourself speak, I (and a dozen other officers) got the privilege of watching a recording of me answering questions on camera after our recent training event. I was cracking up the entire time- it was supposed to be one of those 'how much do you know what's going on in this scenario' sort of things, but I'm the guy more or less in charge of knowing what the entire scenario was about. Talk about over-answering!

Indeed. Teaching The Republic in intro classes gets awkward, because most students taking an Intro to Philosophy class were not expecting to talk about bizarre political and social arrangements, determining birth by lots, etc. You get a lot of perplexed looks from your students.

yeah it's one of those things where the ideas you want to get from it are one thing but the actual mechanics of reading it to get those ideas are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT and fairly obnoxious

Hi Dean! Actually, I did recently finish a two-player tic tac toe game; it's not user friendly at all (to place your pieces, you have to first enter the row and then the column number for the space you want to go to), and I'm pretty sure the way I coded it is the least efficient way imaginable, but it is functional.

Can't speak for Eirene obviously, but I like mine. :) The only thing I would add is that my work would probably focus on the most impractical, unusable bits of knowledge imaginable, like Thedas' equivalent of the higher-order truths of chmess (http://web.ics.purdue.edu/~drkelly/DCDChmess2006.pdf).
