Back in Truckee, the drive back yesterday was completely uneventful, we got an early start (before the RV'ers) so we had light traffic most of the way. This morning the dogs are barking at a mother black bear and a high-size youngster, first sighting this year!

We don't have any bears. We do have coyotes, snakes (an assortment of), scorpions, centipedes, some very nasty spiders, and more gofers than then there is ground for them to dig up, usually in my garden.

It was overcast and yucky here today, but it should be nice in a couple day and it should be the start of our summer pretty soon.

I have uploaded a 1_0 version of Sapphos Daughters, Allison. All reported problems have been corrected. I just finished a play-thru with a city elf, very enjoyable.

flowers, not yet, but we have apples (7 kinds), pears, plums, apricots, almonds, quince, pomegranates, currents, brambles, cherries, peach, grapes and rhubarb, all looking like they will produce this year, if the wind and or bug don't get them.

No, we live in a very inhospitable area. But if we can gain a good harvest once in 5 years we will do well.

Sure. that is the site I usually go to. I have friends from years gone with that as the place we have in common. Most sites have been taken over by porn now and you can't trust most social sites either. But that one has always been pretty good.

I'm pretty sure my dogs think I'm weird...when we go for a walk, I pick up their poop in a plastic bag and carry it back home...from their point of view that's weird.
