To hide the GUI: 'alt+z' or 'v'
Print screen (prt sc) should create an image file on the clipboard (as in the Windows clipboard), but I can't figure out if the game's supposed to do anything with it. Use MsPaint unless you have a better image processing program.

anyone happen to know how to access the old BSN for viewing purposes? I'm trying to look at old PMs since they weren't brought over to the new one

If you go to social.bioware.com you should find links to various sections of the "legacy" BSN at the bottom of the page. You should be able to navigate from there.

that's the thing. Legacy BSN just redirects me back to here once I punch in my login information. It's... broken I guess.

It might be in relation to the folks on the Keep disabling aspects of the BSN to work out some kinks in the Keep. Hopefully, it's a temporary thing. Otherwise, I'm sure it'll be helpful to bring the problem to the attention of the appropriate people. I.e. the forum/BSN help section.

Haha it was actually surprisingly cheap! Only about 2 bucks not counting the S&H fee (which cost more then the book itself).

In all seriousness, over time I got used to it but it still hurt my eyes after being on here for too long. The dark theme is much better.

Good to hear. That I'm crazy, that is; how boring would the alternative be?
For whiteness, Google+ has been significantly worse. Like, all white, without even backgrounds. It's a lot more grey now than it used to be. And I've been using that since it was in open beta. Well, I say worse, but all white themes have never bothered me unless my eyes have been infected.
