Ha, thanks. 25-years-old. Time flies. By the way, I just got P3. This seems obvious but just to be clear, I should play The Journey before The Answer, right?

I only watched the first episode, didn't really pull me in.

Yeah. I wanted to finish Persona 4 before I started playing Persona 3, since I never actually finished it the first time around. I made it to the final dungeon and just stopped playing. I still had the save files for the original playthrough, but I thought it would be better to play through the whole game again and reacquaint myself with the plot. Plus, second playthroughs tend to confirm or contradict your initial feelings towards a game and its story.

Plus, my original playthrough was all sorts of fucked up. I managed the schedule much better this time around.

Never managed to get all social links on one playthrough myself. NG+ makes it a lot easier to do since your stats and registered persona's carry over.

Chie and Teddie really get on my nerves sometimes. Hell, all of them do, save Naoto, Yukiko and Rise.

I think Teddie's the only one that ever irks me. Replaying P4?

Cunning Villain → GreyLycanTrope
Ha, it's almost like you're trying to talk me out of playing the game at all. I know you aren't, but it sounds like P4 was a upgrade in every conceivable way. I suppose I should've played P3 first, like any normal person would've. Anyway, for the sake of clarity, are you saying there IS a romantic option in the game but the player has no choice in who it is, or there isn't and flirting is the apex of the "romantic" aspect?

Just giving you a heads up since it was an earlier game and like ME1 noticeably rougher around the edges, storyline is pretty damn solid though.
Romance is not as clearly defined as in P4 were you're asked if you want to date a character the dialogue basically heavily implies that you're dating all the girls, there slight difference in the very last scene but I think that's exclusive to the PSP re-release which updated a lot of the mechanics to be more like P4.

Starting with P4 might not have been a mistake either at least now you know that the story line is probably wroth the potential roughness.

I see. Well, I'm looking forward to playing it.

Any other additions to the FES version? That's the one I'm going to get.

Mostly just adding more Persona and quests than the original, and now you have some surveillance videos you can watch to flesh out your companions a little more. The main additions is a sort of playable epilogue called "The Answer" since the ending initially was thought to be a little too vague about what happened and why. The Answer is honestly a bit not that well received cause it's a bit of a chore to get through and some of the characters are acting a fairly emotionally but it...

A few more things just as a heads up. Social links are a little different in that you don't really get a say in who you romance the protag just basically flirts with all the girls, leveling up the social links to max won't change your companions Personas, that happens automatically at specific story points, and the dungeon design isn't as creative as P4. The nature of shadows is also somewhat less developed in this earlier game so you might notice some difference between the lore...

I generally prefer subs mainly because I just tend to prepher the Japanese phrasing a bit more, though in this case I know the dub is pretty high quality as well.

I could go on and on about how much I love Fairy Tail. It can be heartwarming, heartbreaking and genuinely hilarious, and you can experience all of that in singular episodes. It started off pretty slow and the fight scenes were incredibly repetitive early on, but I'm glad I stuck with it. I really started get into the show during the Galuna Island and Phantom Lord arcs.

By the way, sub or dub? I'm of the opinion the dub is far better, especially when it comes to the comedic aspect of the show. It sucks the dub lags so far behind the sub. That's just the nature of anime, though.

Oh, and Fairy Tail is by far my favorite anime, followed by Attack on Titan and Darker Than Black.

Oh yeah Fairy Tail is great, soundtrack in particular. Love that the secondary characters get as much screen time and development as the main cast.

Oh, yeah. I wrote about how much I liked Darker Than Black. Hei's one of my favorite protagonists in anime. I felt like it ended too soon, though. Maybe I just wanted more of it. Also: What's FMA: Brotherhood's relation to the original series? Is it a sequel? Reboot?

GreyLycanTrope
Unfortunate truth is that many anime's just don't have budget for a longer run or their source material just isn't that long, glad you enjoyed it though. Brotherhood is sort of a reboot, the original anime basically went it's own route because the manga it was based on wasn't that far along. Brotherhood sticks a lot closer to the manga which was basically done when the show started airing, general consensus is that brotherhood is even better than the original.

Don't think I'm getting back into wrestling but a friend linked me a video of Asuka's debut in NXT. Girl's magic in the ring.

Of Death Note? Seemed like an appropriate end given Light's character. A short list of shows kinda depends on what you're into comedies: Cromartie high school, daily lives of high school boys, devil is a part-timer. If you liked Kill la Kill, Gurren Lagann is a must watch over the top action mecha anime, though with a stronger characters and plot than kill la kill. Monster is a good physiological thriller. Darker than Black a great action thriller. Also One-Punch Man, great super hero...

Oh and Hellsing Ultimate, great action involves vampires and giant guns.
