See message from June 20th. Still bugs and I'm only spending time here for the toolset forum and emails :( I enjoyed the heck out of the people, but BSN has sure taken the 'social' out of 'social network' for me.

To change to a darker background, click on 'theme' on the lower left hand corner. Still underwhelmed by the new' BSN, but at least my eyes don't bleed!

To add a custom avatar, find an image you like, make sure it is 500kb or less. In your profile, click on the image of the white ghost man....an option will show up to "change" or update your current photo~ browse to your image and upload.

Considering how long it took me to figure out how to see the comments, I don't think changing to an avatar is going to work!
