AresKeith → Nightwriter
I'd also want them to make romances for the game and not pander to the ones who yell the loudest

Would Miranda turning out to be an f/f LI in ME3 have been 'pandering'? Would either Isabela or Merrill NOT being f/f available in DA2 have been 'pandering'? And if so, 'pandering' to who? Be very, very careful with double edged swords.

Tricky issue, but some cases are clearer than others. In ME3 the most popular characters were put on the squad while other characters who had story relevance were dismissed via hack job. And while annoying, I'm not sure I'd even call that pandering. An argument can be made that doing what the majority wants is just reasonable business practice.

I'm more inclined to wanting romances more tailored to be tied to the story in a sense - like in KOTOR. It depends on the story obviously, but I found that was one of their "better" romance arcs in any of their games (Bastila), but then I would want another character like Jack cause well, Jack. I really want them to have the balls to develop meaningful friendships outside of "pursing" romance.

The problem with KOTOR is that you can only really do something like that with one or two characters. I thought in DA2 you had pretty meaningful friendships, but the romances felt tacked on (well more than usual anyway).

Yep. Bastila was male Revan's only love interest and a focal character. They could do more with her. It's harder to weave multiple love interests into the story equally.

I don't think there's much to understand. It's not odd for adults to enjoy a children's show (depending how they go about that enjoyment). What I don't get is trying to deflect from the fact that this particular fandom has massive swathes of sh*tty adults for whatever reason.
