Just so you know, Pres, you still won't have any lvl 4 consumables when you fire it back up. I only say that because I had hoped that my Cryo IVs and such would've gained some kind of interest in my absence. This was not the case, sadly.

Haha I know. I have no intention of soloing though. I've gotten used to using lvl 2 consumables in platinum lol. lvl 4 was a treat and was reserved for plat solos. (Either way most of the time they were lost in rage quits)

^ Absolutely. Don't forget to put together some dragon-slaying runes for your bow and any other non-staves. The numbers are delicious.

Interesting.. yeah I'm using a dual hand sword wielding warrior as my primary, but i find myself switching to the distance rogue and mage in my party pretty often. I've definitely hit difficult encounters and had to level up a bit before returning (including a bear I just could not kill haha) but it's good fun :)

Yeah, I started the game as a stabby rogue. Bears required a lot of "Oh crap, he's about to stomp the ground and destroy everyone within 20 feet of him. Time to run away for 10 seconds." Though Flanking Attack helped a lot once I got that, IIRC. Still rough in the Hinterlands, though, since there were spots where the bears just kept walking into the same encounter/fight.

^ I haven't played many games, but no other game has delivered that exact feeling you describe Grim, on so many occasions as the Mass Effect Series has. I remember the game blowing my mind in all three parts, but especially in ME1 and ME2.

It's interesting. Fun to just play to change up the scenery. I can see how it would get repetitive, but I think I'll keep playing it as an occasional distraction from other games. The gameplay is pretty fun.

I may try to dabble in DAIMP too. I haven't given it a fair chance really. I know it's not as good as ME3MP but now that Destiny is basically weekly maintenance til the next DLC.. I'm looking for something new.

I hear ya, Pres. There's promise/potential in it. I enjoy it, but I'm not into it on the every day level that I was with ME3MP. Giving them some time to work out the wrinkles before I give it a yay or nay.

^I bet. I'm definitetly a fan of the DA series. I will play the entire SP game for sure. It usually takes me like a year though. I play a little here and there. I'm still very much into Destiny actually (surprisingly). With so much coming out in the next few years, I think the only thing that will take me away is ME4.

Maybe that should've been an option, but the act of rolling out a new collection of gear with a content update/DLC/expansion pack and making the last set "not enough" if not completely obsolete is not a new concept. I also think they *should* release brand new gear in a game like Destiny because some people care about how their character looks. I know that is a silly concept to some, but...

It's a legitimate concern for others. It took Blizzard 8+ years to catch on to that and implement it in WoW, but it was met with resounding praise. Doesn't sound like Destiny offered the option, however, from the patch notes. But changing the look of the character with new gear...not a terrible thing. Just would've been nice if they offered an option: Upgrade what ya got or get all new, but make the grind comparable for each.
