I also got the patch before I could click to install Black Emporium. All went without a hitch though I'm not using any mods as I'm not playing the game yet. Also, ye olde patch notes: http://blog.bioware.com/2015/05/04/dragon-age-inquisition-patch-7-notes/

All the daimod mods (except some face textures) work with the Black emporium and new patch. Any mod not packaged as daimod does not seem to work.
