I'll concede that much of the negative reaction is just that the new forum is so drastically different that we have to get used to it. But it also looks like some changes were made for no particular reason that are definitely NOT improvements over the old site. For starters, this new one isn't anywhere near as user friendly, and the layout is a lot busier. What I hate the most is that we don't have the same opportunities to to the "scuttlebutting" on profiles and commen...

I do miss that too. It was nice to be able to comment on a friend's post privately without disrupting the thread itself. It often made for more interesting conversations than the thread in question.
