Ouch, hope she's better. I can walk now, more or less, yeah. I'm going on a single crutch/cane now. I can feasibly manage to walk, but it's still not easy. Apparently it'll be that way for quite some time.

The same, more or less. No health problems on my end, but my mom broke her right ankle in two places a couple of months back. Glad to hear your health is recovering, though. Are you able to get up and move around now?

So, Kill la Kill. Would you recommend it? All I know about the show is a female character wields a sword that looks like half a pair of scissors, but it looks interesting.

I would, it's bombastic and over the top but very creative in the way the plot unfolds, even the fanservicey imagery ends up having plot significance. It does gets a little slow at the half way point but picks up again towards the end. The creators of that show were also responsible for another one called Gurren Lagann which you might have heard of. Kill la Kill largely represents an artistic style and tone similar to that show, both are pretty high on my top anime list.
